The next day I got into a wagon that had been waiting there for me.
"Wait!" Someone said. I looked over and saw Mina running towards me.
She stopped and placed her hands on her knees to catch her breath.
"I'd like to come with you if that's okay" she said.
"Hop in" I said with a smile.
The wagon took us both to a nearby underground city, which is where both Louise and I spent most of our days these last 2 years before joining the cadet corpse.
"I know this place, I got beat up behind that ally... and that restaurant and that horse stand..." I said.
"Did you have anything against running away?" Mina asked.
"You start running they'll never let you stop... you stand strong push back... can't say no forever right"
"I know a little of what that's like, being completely outclassed by people like Mikasa and Sasha" She said.
"The important thing is to keep trying, and between you and me I think your already pretty strong as is" I said making her smile.
"Thank you" She said
We arrived at our destination where we met Dr. Schnee in an underground laboratory that was filled with scientists.
After some unnecessary pictures I got into a scientist bed and got strapped in
"Comfortable?" The Dr asked.
"It's a little big. You save me any of that whine?" I asked.
"Not as much as I should have. Sorry. Next time"
"Mr. Schnee how are your levels?"
"Levels at 100%. we are ready as we'll ever be. Ms Carolina? Don't you think you would be more comfortable in the booth?" A scientist told her.
"Yes, of course. Sorry." She said getting out of the way.
Dr Schnee then spoke up to everyone.
"Good. Do you hear me? Is this on? Ladies and gentlemen, today we take not another step towards annihilation, but the first step on the path to peace. We begin with a series of microinjections into the subject's major muscle groups. The serum infusion will cause immediate cellular change. And then, to stimulate growth, the subject will be saturated with Orion-Rays"
I then felt a needle go in my arm.
"That wasn't so bad" I said.
"That was penicillin...Serum infusion beginning in five, four, three, two, one. Now"
Dr Schnee P.O.V
The secret to this injection was that it was,75 percent Arckerman blood for heightened senses and combat capabilitys and 25 percent titan fluid for things like super strength and a little healing, the Ackerman blood should naturalize the titan fluid so (Y/N) Won't become a titan... still though the process will be painful.
(Y/N) P.O.V
"10...20 percent. 30. That's 40%. Vital signs are normal. That's 50%. 60... 70!-"
"GAAAAAA!" I yelled in agony.
"(Y/N)? (Y/N)!?" The Dr yelled banging on my container
"Shut it down! Shut it down!" Mina yelled.
"kill the reactor, Mr. Schnee! Turn it off! kill it! kill the reactor!"
"No! Don't! I can do this!" I said determined and so they proceeded.
"Eighty. Ninety. That's 100%. Mr. Schnee?" Some equipment started to blow up and then... silence
"(Y/N)? (Y/N)?"
They opened the tube and I felt absolutely shredded like cheese and slightly exhausted at first.
"The son of a bitch did it" Kieth said.
"I did it?" I said.
"Yeah, yeah. I think we did it. You actually did it" Schnee said.
"How do you feel?" Mina asked..
"Taller..." I said.
"You look taller" She said quickly touching my peck before handing me a shirt
Before any of us could actually celebrate an explosion went off and some fired a gun.
"Stop him!" The gunner ran up the stairs and to my utter shock , Dr Schnee was hit.
"Dr Schnee!" I said looking at the man who made me.
He uttered no words instead pointed at my chest symbolizing that it's whats on the inside that counts before succumbing to the bullet wound.
Anger filled my body as I chased the man who shot Mr Schnee all while getting used to my new body.
Jumping, running, and kicking became so much easier and efficient.
I finally caught the guy who did it and pinned him to the ground.
"Who the hell are you?" I asked.
"The first of many. Cut off one head, two more shall take its place. All hail... the king!" He said before killing himself.
I looked at myself afterwards and realized how strong I was.
