now usually, yeon's job was quite peacefully. usually she worked on weekends. but of course, the person who worked on the weekdays just had to take a two week vacation. her boss had asked her to take over, and she agreed, because extra pay.

libraries were usually quiet on the weekends. but during the weekday, teenagers were all over the place, looking for school books and other things for projects. and they weren't even quiet. for most of the day, she ignored teenage hormonal stares and went on her phone. the job didn't have any restrictions to phones thankfully, or else yeon wouldnt make it through the day.

the bell on the front entrance rang, and yeon looked up to see who entered. she grabbed a book off the counter next to her, and hid her face. "why the fuck is he everywhere?"

he wasn't alone again, he was accompanied by seven other boys. most of them she did not remember. she could recognize mark and jaemin, and one who she thinks is chenle. the others she wasn't sure about. probably because she couldn't remember a lot of things.

the others boys with jaehyun were obviously younger, like high school age most likely. which probably explains why they were here.

the one who she knew was mark, was trailing behind. jaehyun looked at him strangely. "why aren't you walking with them?"

mark shrugged. "i just feel like something is telling me not to."

"mark get your ass over here!" one of the boys yelled.

mark smiled happily before running to join them. now normally the people who worked there would tell people to stop running, but yeon didnt really care. it wasnt her fault if someone fell.

she dropped the book covering her face when a loud thud echoed through the library. obviously it was just someone dropping a book but it always scared her.

"yeon?" ah, of course he had to see her at this exact moment. she just sighed, and didn't try and hide or ignore him. he wasn't the reason she was ignoring him, it was her. she didn't feel like talking today, unless it was necessary.

"you seem tired, are you okay?" jaehyun asked curiously.

"im fine, i just didn't get much sleep." one part of that was true, and the other part not so much. it was true, yeon never really got much sleep. and her being fine was never usually true. over the past week or so, it had been too quiet. and she was getting suspicious.

"no yeon, you're obviously not." jaehyun reached out his hand to hold hers. hesitantly, she put her hand in his.

"you know the gang members you saved me from?"

a/n: !please read, very important!

im sorry i havent updated in like five days or so. school started only three days ago and it has already affected me in a bad way.

school has affected my sleeping schedule, which has completely messed me up. i cannot force myself to sleep no matter how hard i try. which causes me to fall asleep early in the morning.

when i wake up, i usually have bad headaches that also really affect me through out the day.

i usually dont take naps or anything of the sort. but ever since school started have been so tired and exhausted that I've had to take naps after school. you can tell me im overreacting, but I'm not.

all im trying to say is that i dont think i can update every day like i usually do, especially with homework. so please respect my time. i don't wanna be really stressed this year, and i really dont want my anxiety to be bad this year either.

i love you guys :) there might be another chapter coming out soon. hopefully wattpad wont delete it like they deleted this chapter.
