yeon's footsteps echoed in the silent museum, as she walked to her desk. when yeon said the place she moved to was fancy, she meant really fancy.

it was a serious upgrade from the older house. she had to get used to their expectations but over a while she got used to it. she now worked in a museum as a secretary, from eight to noon, until she switched out with the other secretary.

it was simple for her, the only hard part was talking to the people who came in, but the only people who usually came in were older people.

but early in the morning, it was empty as always.  it was like a resting period of time for her, to either go on her phone or just sleep. she actually liked this job, and her coworkers weren't too bad.

and when people started coming in that morning, she was fine with it because all they had to do was hand her the tickets and go in unless they had any questions.

finally it was afternoon, and she was let off for the day. the streets were bustling with people, as most were on their lunch break. yeon sat on a bench and put her earbuds in, waiting for somin to pick her up.

she could feel the presence of someone sitting next to her but didn't look to see who it was. it was a public bench after all. the person ended up dropping something, so she picked it up and handed it too them. she nearly died on the spot. the person had taken their item back, but thankfully hadn't looked up at her.

yeon nearly ran to the car when somin arrived, and tried to calm down once she was inside.

after all, she didn't expect to see jaehyun there. not after two years.
