a few hours later, taeil came to pick jaehyun up because jaehyun walked instead of taking his car last night.

yeon waved to him, smiling as he left. she closed the door, still smiling.

"damn this is whipped culture." said somin, who had watched jaehyun take nearly ten minutes just to leave.

"was it ten minutes? it felt like two." yeon frowned.

"that's because you weren't the one watching the whole thing happen." somin rolled her eyes.

"maybe you're right." yeon shrugged.

"i know im right." somin said, sipping her tea as she always did.

"you really have nothing better to do, do you?" yeon sat on the couch next to her friend.

"no i don't." somin took the remote off the side table. "now let's watch paw patrol."

2:00 am:

okay, ill stay up a little later.
yeon?
hello?
you fell asleep didn't you?
delivered 2:23 am

jaehyun sighed, and put his phone down next to him.

"you're still awake?" the soft voice of jungwoo broke through the silence, and jaehyun jumped out of suprise.

"jesus christ, jungwoo. you scared me." jaehyun relaxed.

"are you texting that girl again?" jungwoo asked from his bunk above him.

"i was, she fell asleep." jaehyun sighed again.

"you should ask her out. all you do is talk about her." jungwoo giggled.

"easy for you to say. all you do is flirt with lucas." jaehyun rolled his eyes.

"of course i do. and you seem genuinely interested in this girl. so do us all a favor and ask her out." jungwoo said finally, before rolling fully onto his bed to fall asleep.

jaehyun thought about it. maybe he would ask her out.

a/n: usually when i see posts about ships i dont like i get annoyed, but instead of commenting stupid things i simply press the "see fewer posts about this." take notes please.
