"woah, what's wrong?" somin said, seeing her friend panicking as she entered the car.

"he was there, he was right there." yeon said, trying to calm herself, which wasn't working very well.

"explain." somin was confused. two years had gone by, and they both hadn't seen a single sign of jaehyun. but all of a sudden, he shows up. the only question was why?

"i really don't know. if i was just waiting were i usually do and he was just there," yeon tried her best to explain. she finally relaxed, and by that time they were already at the apartment complex they both lived at.

"will paw patrol help?" he friend tried to cheer her up.

yeon nodded, "yes it will."

the next day yeon finished work once again, and nervously walked to the bench. and there he was, right there. her heart almost stopped, he was as handsome as always. but all she saw when she looked at him was lies.

yeon didn't even sit down, she didn't want to risk jaehyun noticing her. in her head, she told herself that she never wanted to talk to him. but in her heart, she wanted to hug him and watch movies like the used to. that was over now. she couldn't trust him.

seeing him again brought back all the unwanted memories. over the two years she was able to forget most of the time.

as somin's car pulled up, she took one more look at him before getting into the car.

"well i saw him this time." she said, looking out the window to take a better look.

"what am i going to do? seeing him every day would be too painful for me." yeon frowned.

"what you're not going to do is talk to him." somin didn't want her friend to lose to jaehyun, as she hated him as much as yeon did. maybe more.

"but-"

"yeon, listen to me," somin said sternly. "you can not give into him. i can't let you do that."

yeon sighed, "i know it's just seeing him again makes me have an urge to just go up and start a conversation. over the two years i told myself i moved on but i obviously haven't."

"i know you haven't, but you can't just give everything up for him again. he isn't worth it." somin reassured her friend.

yeon nodded slowly, "yeah, you're right."
