it was every day now, he was there. yeon played it cool, she didn't talk to him. but one day, she was staring for a little too long.
jaehyun must've sensed her stare, but he looked up and straight at her. her eyes widened, and she immediately tried walking away. jaehyun stood and tried catching up to her. unfortunately for her, she couldn't get away fast enough and jaehyun was able to grab her arm quickly.
she spun around trying to pull her arm away from his grasp.
"yeon, please just talk to me." jaehyun said in a pleading voice.
she shook her head, unable to meet eyes with him. "i- i dont want to."
"please, just come with me and let me talk." yeon sighed, she knew she would give in.
"fine, just hold on." she pulled out her phone to text somin.

got itjaehyun pulled her to a small diner, and someone greeted him almost instantly.
"damn, jaehyun. didn't expect to see you back so early," said a guy from behind the counter. "looks like you brought someone with you."
"shush, minghao." jaehyun rolled his eyes.
minghao laughed, "ok if you want me to. what do you guys want."
while jaehyun answered for himself, yeon realized how nervous she was around him.
"yeon." jaehyun snapped her out of her thoughts.
"oh um, i'll have a milkshake i guess." she frowned. minghao nodded, and disappeared into the kitchen. she complained to herself all day that she was hungry but she suddenly didn't have much of an appetite.
they sat down on at a booth, and yeon stared out the window trying to ignore a conversation..
"so-" he started.
"what are you doing here jaehyun?" she looked at him, and he noticed how saddened she looked.
"taeyong needed help paying for things, and i found a job here in this diner. i didn't even know you lived here." he said truthfully.
"even after two years jaehyun, even looking at you hurts me." she looked away from him again.
they sat in silence for a while after his food and her milkshake came. it wasn't until the bill arrived that he finally spoke.
"don't worry, im paying." yeon probably would've slapped him right then and there if he told her she was paying.
"cool." she said simply.
"just please give me another chance, yeon." he grabbed her hand lightly, and she just stared at his hand for a while before pulling her hand back.
"i don't know if I can do that, jaehyun." she stood up to leave.
"do you still have my number?" he asked hopefully.
"i never deleted it." and then she left, leaving jaehyun to think to himself again.
