Chapter 26

                         3 Days Later

Aaron's POV

It has been 3 days since we got Ari back and she still hasn't woken up yet, on the second day I called the doctor to come and have a look at her and he said that she's ok, her body is just resting.

"Ari you need to wake up baby, we have a wedding to plan" I mumbled while sliding the ring back on her finger.

"I've never told you this before but I love you so much, you've changed me a lot Ari" I kissed her palm.

I heard a knock on the door before I saw Lilli's head pop in.

"Hey I just came to check on the both of you," she said.

"I'm just tired, Ari?? Well, the doctor said that she's fine and her body is just resting" I sighed.

"You need to get some rest Aaron, can't have it that when Ari wakes up you look like a living zombie" she joked causing me to laugh.

"I just don't want to miss the moment when she wakes up".

"You probably will if you don't get enough sleep" she grinned.

"You're right, I'm going upstairs to take a nap, wake me if there are any changes".

"Ok Captain" she mocks salute, I chuckled and shook my head before walking out, going up the stairs I made my way into one of the bedrooms.

As soon as my head touched the pillow I went out cold.

            4 Hours Later

It was around 3 when I woke up, I yawned before making my way to the bathroom to freshen up.

I spent at least 35 minutes in there before getting out and drying off, walking to the dresser I open one of the draws finding some sweats and a plain T-shirt I pulled them on before heading downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen I took a bottle of apple juice from out of the fridge, one thing with this warehouse is that it was like an actual house minus the medical rooms.

Walking out of the kitchen I made my way to Ari, getting inside I saw that Lilli and Anna were there.

"Hey girls" I greeted them.

"Hey," Anna said.

"How are you feeling now??" Lilli questioned.

"Good actually," I said truthfully, we had a back and forth conversation until a maid came in to give us some food.

Eating we continued to talk, almost finished I heard Anna gasp, I looked up at her concerned, Lilli's face mirroring mine.

"What's wrong Anna?? Please don't tell that the baby is coming" I groaned.

"No stupid, I just saw Ari's hand move," she said making me let out a breath of relief.

"Are you sure Anna??" Lilli asked, Anna, nodded her head.

We just sat there looking at Ari until I saw her hand move along came a groan.

"Lilli go get the doctor now!!" I said hurriedly.

She quickly ran out of the room while I and Anna made our way towards Ari.

"Shhh, it's ok Ari take your time," I said as I gently rubbed her hand.

"W-w-where am I??" she croaked out, I got up and went to where I was before and took up a bottle of water, walking back to her I opened it and placed it to her lips.

She drank until the bottle was empty.

"Thank you" she smiled, I nodded my head placing a kiss on her forehead, Anna hasn't said anything yet so I looked at her to see she was looking at Ari with tears in her eyes.

"I-I-I t-thought that I lost y-you" she stuttered through her tears, Ari lifted her arms so that Anna could hug her, she bent slightly since she was almost 6 months pregnant.

"I'll never leave you, Anna, best friends forever, remember??" Ari said.

"I know, I just got so scared" Anna's voice was soft.

"Miss. Grace you are finally up, how are you feeling??", Doctor Anthony said once he got inside.

"I'm feeling somewhat ok, just slight pain here and there" Ari replied.

"That's expected, I'll prescribe you some pain killers but they are only to be taken when the pain is severe since your ankle was twisted forcefully I had to break it so that will take up to 2-3 months to heal but you will have to come in every end of the month for a check-up" Doc said.

"Oh, and the bruising on your sides will take a month to heal as well, now guys I'm going to ask you to leave for a minute so that I can examine Ari," he said turning to us, we nodded and got out of the room.

I kissed Ari on her head before leaving out of the room with the girls. I feel as if  a heavy weight has been lifted off of my chest now that Ari's awake.
