Chapter 28

I gasped looking at everyone around me, there I saw my family, Aaron's family along with Dante's, Anna's, and surprisingly Lilli's.

"What is this all about??" I asked recovering from my shock.

"It's just a family get-together that Aaron decided to do," Anna said smiling.

"When did you even have time to do this??" I turned to him.

"I've been planning this for a few days now" he smiled.

"This is really nice Aaron"

"Plus I thought that since it's the second day before the wedding it would be nice for everyone to get to know each other a little more before our big day", I nodded in agreement while smiling.

I greeted as many people as I could before we were told that dinner was ready, we all made our way out to the backyard since the dining area was a bit small for everyone to fit.

Once everyone was served, Antonio, Aaron's father, got up and said grace before we all dug in.

Dinner was going great, everyone was sharing jokes and having a wonderful time while eating.

After the main meal dessert was served and it was a chocolate mousse cake, which was my favorite, we all ate before the tables were cleared.

We all got up and walked around talking to one another, I saw my mom and made my way towards her.

"Hey mom, how are you?" I hugged her once I got closer.

"Hey sweetie, I'm ok and how are you??".

"I'm good" I smiled.

"I can definitely see that, I'm glad that at the end of the day everything worked out great, I can see that he really does love and care for you and you the same" she smiled.

"I really do love him, mom, I'm a bit nervous about our wedding though".

"There's nothing to really be nervous about babygirl, as long as you're not planning to leave him at the alter then there is nothing to be nervous about," she said making me laugh.

"Speaking of the wedding though, are you going to invite Catherine??" she asked referring to my cousin.

"Why must I mom?? I don't even like her and I know she definitely doesn't like me" I rolled my eyes, ever since we were children I and Catherine could never get along and that only grew once we got bigger.

"Roll your eyes again I dare you", as old as I am my mom would always scold me.

"I'm sorry mom".

"As I was saying you should invite her, she is still family".

"I will not inv-", I stopped midway in my sentence when I saw Luca getting down on his knee in front of Lilli and a millisecond later Dante got down his in front of Anna, it was cute but funny.

The crowd chuckled making Dante and Luca stop what they were doing, looking around they both realized they were proposing at the same time.

"Really dude??" They both said at the same time causing us to laugh.

"You need to get out of my head," they both said at the same time, making them groan.

"So you both trash my office today, you both decided to propose at the same time, you both are saying the same thing at the same time, seems like you both are twins today" Aaron joked making everyone laugh.

"I had a whole speech planned for you but that doesn't really matter anymore, will you Lillianna do me the honor of becoming my wife??" Luca asked pulling out the ring from his pocket.

"YES!!", she shouted making us erupt in cheers, he slid the ring on her fingers before getting up and pulling her into a big kiss.

Once the cheers died down everyone turned their attention towards Anna and Dante.

"Anna you are my baby and the mother of my beautiful daughter, I'm asking you to give me the opportunity of not only being a loving father but also a wonderful husband".

"Yes!! Yes!! Yes!!" Anna said bouncing on her feet.

He slid the ring on her finger and kissed her before kissing Arianna on her cheeks making her giggle.

Everyone cheered and saying congratulations.

"Attention!! Attention!!! Can I please have the attention of the newly engaged couples" I shouted, once I got all four to look at me I spoke.

"To my two brothers and my two best friends, I just want you to know that I will be the main planner of the weddings, I must get paid, I'll also be the maid of honor at both weddings" I grinned.

"Congrats guys!!!" I yelled.

I turned back to my mom.

"As I was saying you need to invite Catherine to your wedding," my mom said.

"Fine, I'll invite her, on one condition"

"Name it"

"I get to buy you a gift for your birthday and you have to open it" I grinned, my mom hates it when she gets gifts for her birthday but we always end up buying her but she never opens them.

"Fine!!, at least inviting Catherine can save us from the both of you rift rafts, now go she's over there" I followed to where she was pointing and there I saw Catherine drinking as usual.

I walked to where she was, having to stop and greet a few people in the process.

"So as you know I hate you and you hate me so let's just get this over with, my mom wants me to invite you to the wedding and I would appreciate it if you leave the bullshit outside of the church before coming in," I said getting to the point.

"Ok I'll come but don't expect anything from me"

"I wasn't even looking forward to seeing you" I scoffed and walked back over to mom.

"Are you happy now??" I asked once I got close to her.

"Yes I am"

"Where's Dad??" I asked remembering that I only saw him twice tonight.

"He said that he and Antonio were heading to the casino, said he would be back to see you though", I nodded my head looking around.

"Looking for me Bella??" I heard Aaron's voice near to my ear before I felt his arms come around me.

"In some ways yes" I turned in his arms, he leaned down capturing my lips in a passionate kiss, I don't know how long we were kissing but it was as if as soon as we started we were interrupted.

"Guys save some for the honeymoon!!" I heard Luca shout, turning around I flipped him off causing him to gasp.

"You wound me deeply Ari" he feigned hurt placing his hand over his heart.

"You'll live" I shrugged, causing those who were watching us to laugh.

"Whatever Ari" and with that, he flipped me off as well causing mom to scold him.

"Oh come, mom!! She flipped me off too!!" Luca pouted.

"I didn't see it though" she shrugged making Luca's jaw drop in disbelief.

"You were standing right beside her mom and you didn't see it??" he asked.

"I wasn't looking at her" she shrugged again.

"So it's like that then??, fine!!" and with that, he stomped off like a child probably to go and find dad.

Around 3 am everyone was finally gone leaving just me, Aaron, Dante, Anna, Luca, and Lilli.

They all decided to stay, so we went inside deciding we would clean up later in the day.

Anna had put baby Arianna to bed at around 10.

We made our way to the game room and decided to play a round of Call of Duty and FIFA, that's where we spent the rest of our time until we fell asleep one by one.
