Chapter 39: I'm here

            Jimin caressed the younger's neck softly and pulled a smile while he looked up at the younger. "You're just too happy today aren't you..? I got sick and you have me all to yourself now." Jimin chuckled slightly while his eyes grew teary due to his headache. "Ugh I hate this..."

'I love this. It's fun. Now I get to protect you like you did to me. But, let me tell you that when you were caring for me, you abandoned me for work. So, tomorrow, I'll do that too.' Jungkook signed and made a smile. 'I got you sick so I might as well do what you did to me.'

          "Ah, fine.. If it helps you sleep better at night~" Jimin laughed again before coughing into his hands and spreading his arms out onto the bed and letting out an exhale. "I feel horrible... For leaving you for work. Please don't go without me..." Jimin added as Jungkook only took out hand sanitizer and a small sanitary wipe to clean the germs off of Jimin's hands. "Jungkook..."

'No. You didn't stay for me.'

         "But... Jungkook, what if Sehiro hurts you? N-No.. This isn't safe. You could get killed and I'll be left all alone." Jimin panicked as Jungkook tilted his head and held his smile to sign to Jimin.

'How could Sehiro kill me at a police station? I will go but if I do turn up dead, you arrest him and the whole search is over. Besides, I'm going back there to atleast do somthing. If I don't do anything, your father could call me back to Seoul. Can't miss too much on this investigation. I'll try to find evidence on Sehiro.' Jungkook signed quickly to get the answer across the man.

            "Ah, but you can't go there... I don't want to lose you... Even if we aren't together and we are just friends, I still don't want to lose you like this." Jimin added as he could see the tint on Jungkook's cheeks grow red while his eyes slowly fixed onto the older.

'You don't?' Jungkook signed in question as he tilted his head.

           "Of course I don't! It's obvious that I don't want to lose you like this... You're my world... My everything... Losing you like this will just kill me. I'll miss you too much." Jimin continued. Jungkook listened to these gentle and beautiful words Jimin placed into his mind. This showed that even if their love was drifting away, their hearts still pounded for each other. Jungkook felt like this love alone was his cure and to Jimin, taking care of the man was enough to make him feel better emotionally. "I know it's tough to move on like this, but you need to believe me. Not every rose petal must fall from down.. Just the ones that have no purpose... But our love... Does have purpose. It's just waiting to bloom into something new. Something safe...something beautiful."

           With every word sounding like symphonies within Jungkook's silent world, he felt every part of it. 'Look at you. Getting so emotional towards me. If this is what you mean by waiting, I understand it.' Signed the boy as he kept his eyes locked in with Jimin's. He knew Jimin wouldn't be able to run off and leave him midway conversation, but it warmed his heart up even more to know that Jimin really felt this way towards their small break. 'What I like about our break is that we don't see anyone else. We wait. That's good.'

          "I know this is weird to ask, but as your boyfriend-to-be... I want to know, how long did you want me?" Jimin wondered while Jungkook started to smile and cover his face along with the blush that never failed to light up his face.

'Love at first sight.' Jungkook signed and made Jimin look back at the time that didn't seem so long ago when he had the younger wrapped in all of the warm covers in the room that night from the heavy storm weather. 'You took care of me before you even knew me.'

           "No wonder you clung onto me like an annoying little rash." Jimin laughed as the silent prince shoved Jimin and stood up to hold the bowl of the cold water now. Walking up to the door so he could bring hot water to drench the towel in once more. "Ah, you know I don't mean it like that, but you used to creep me out a lot~" Jimin continued to chuckle until he let out a cough. "Ugh how I hate this.."
