Chapter 76: The risks I'll take

             That night, Jimin set the covers onto the mattress as Jungkook yawned and hugged a pillow close to his body. Jungkook was wearing a loose dress shirt and black underwear as Jimin was only wearing his underwear to sleep. "Ah, Jimin, you should have left the covers in the laundry and used a different one other than that." Jungkook told Jimin as the older smiled as he set the bed up and was finally done so the two could get some rest.

             "Wouldn't you rather sleep in clean and warm covers instead of cold ones from the cabinets?" Jimin asked as Jungkook got onto the bed and crawled to the center as he pressed his body against the warm covers of the bed to let out a sleepy giggle.

              "Come to me!" Jungkook said playfully as Jimin only held the smile over his blushing face while he turned the lights off. Before he set the bed, he made sure he placed the glass of wine away along with the bottle so the two could sleep without Jimin drinking himself another glass and staying up to complain. Jungkook had his arms out so happily like a small child as Jimin moved in and wrapped his arms around the younger in the dark as his body towered over the love of his life. By there, Jimin gave Jungkook many kisses against his neck and heard the boy giggle so happily. "Mmh~ Jiminie!" The prince giggled happily while Jimin stopped only to look down at the boy.

             "Get some sleep. Now, my sweet prince~!" Jimin told the boy as he slammed his hand againd the side of Jungkook's exposed thigh. "Don't let me catch you with your eyes open, I want you to rest." Jimin whispered to the boy and his voice went slightly lower against Jungkook's ear.

              "Jimin, are you going to work tomorrow? It's been a while... Maybe after the therapeutic session, we can get to work?" Jungkook wondered. Still hoping that Jimin would at least choose to work; however, Jimin just wanted to stay in the house where he had Jungkook all to himself. "We need to 'solve' crimes... At least look like we are doing something and not slacking off."

                "Baby, my sweet Prince, you know that the cases will be forced to close... We have nothing." Jimin said. Avoiding that he was trying to protect Jungkook from getting caught by everyone else. It was love that drove Jimin to do this; putting Jungkook in front of everyone except for the people who Jimin had to take care of from the start.

             "You've done this all for me..." Jungkook told himself as he let out a sigh. "You love me too much to the point where you'd rather see your whole world fall into pieces just so you could see me smile." The younger continued as Jimin looked at the boy and pressed his forehead against Jungkook's.

            "That's what love is to me; The only question is, what is love to you? What are you willing to do to help me...?"

             "I want to help you... I want to make sure you're healed before I go. I know it's not much, but I'd love to help you through this because if I-" Just then, Jimin silenced the prince and locked lips with Jungkook. He had to appreciate Jungkook for trying so hard and wanting to help the man out. The love Jungkook had for Jimin was so true, even if they were bound to separate, Jungkook didn't long to push Jimin away at all. He wanted to ensure that Jimin wouldn't hurt himself or go too rough on himself for allowing Jungkook to leave his side. Like most relationships, Jungkook just didn't want Jimin to fear falling in love with anyone other than Jungkook himself. It was just the fear that dragged him down from ending in good terms with Jeon Jungkook.

              "You don't have to explain why. Our love is enough so I could understand... You love me and worry for me. No need for further explanations." The boy added in a soft whisper and only then, this left Jungkook to wrap his arms around the older so tightly. Feeling like Jimin was slowly coming to warm up from the feeling of losing Jungkook. As long as he held him close now, he won't regret everything after the boy leaves him.
