Dipper's PoV
I opened my eyes, stretching my arms as I sat up. Since all of the weirdness made it constantly dark (and there were actually no windows in the room), the lights were faded to the sort of lighting it would be in the morning. I loved this effect, and mentally complimented Bill for adding it.
At the thought of Bill, I wanted to see him again. My mind was making me wish that he would let me stay here forever. Now that everyone in the Shack most likely hated me — since Mabel blurted out every single bad thing I'd ever done — and the fact that I was still arguing with myself whether I was crushing on him or not.
I got out of bed and remembered I hadn't showered in days. I must stink!
Looking around the room, I noticed the bathroom door near the corner of my room.
Wow, what next, a kitchen? I thought to myself, chuckling as I imagined a kitchen suddenly appearing. I got undressed, picked up a towel, that was already in there, and got into the hot shower.- 5 Minute Time Skip -

I wasn't sure whether Pi- I mean, Dipper was up yet, so I decided to go and check on him. I'd been trying to get used to calling him by his real name, as I knew he'd probably appreciate it. The thing is, I'd been thinking that I'd been crushing on him! Yes, a meat-sack! And not just any meat-sack, but Dipper Pines.
I had noticed when he came back here, for his second summer in Gravity Falls, how adorable he was and how... caring he was. I remembered how I was like that, when I was human... Yes, all you lot! I KNOW YOU'RE READING. In this AU, I used to be human. So DEAL WITH IT!
My life had been turned upside-down since I realised. It was the main reason I took on my human form — to get a better, y'know... chance. After all, it was my original form. I'm a partial-shapeshifter, so I can turn into different versions of myself, but not straight up copy the appearances of things or people.
I teleported to Dipper's door, opening it quietly in case he was still asleep. I looked inside to see his bed empty and his clothes and pyjamas sprawled out on the floor. I looked around, confused, until I saw the bathroom door fly open.
As hard as I tried not to look, I couldn't seem to avert my eyes from the half-naked boy that stood in front of me, trying his best to cover himself up. (Yes, the half that was naked was the top. I'm not that pervy people...)
"Agh! B-Bill! D-Don't l-look!" He pleaded, panicked. It surprised me, but I still looked up at the ceiling. Although, I couldn't help but glance down every few moments.Once he'd gotten some clothes on, Dipper walked over to me — his whole face bright red.
"S-Sorry about that..." I scratched the back of my head, feeling the burning sensation in my cheeks. "I thought you'd still be asleep."
"I-It's f-f-fine..." He managed to stutter out, as if he were cold.Trying to change the subject, I asked him how he slept. The conversation went from there and, before I knew it, hours had passed. Even then, we continued to talk. I shared my past with Dipper : explaining to him how I survived the memory-wipe from his first summer in Gravity Falls ; telling him how this used to be my original form in the beginning ; how I'd changed over the years ; I told him some of my own adventures in different dimensions ; heck, he even laughed when I told him about completely destroying universes, when I told them in the right way.
I'd learnt quite a bit about him, too. How his sister was always the favourite ; how she was the most popular at school ; when he was once the leading character in a school play ; how he got bullied a lot at school for most years ; his love for reading non-fictional books ; and so many other things that I wouldn't have time to list.
Then, an unexpected question came up. It was wonderful, nether the less, but unexpected.
"Uh, Bill? Would you mind if I... well... stayed here? For, like, quite a while?" Dipper asked me, fiddling with his fingers nervously."Yes! That's fine! I was going to ask you anyway! I just felt really nervous about it and didn't know how to ask without sounding like a creep or anything but now that you've asked I feel... uh..." I stopped when I realised I was blabbing words out extremely quickly, and when I noticed the look of confusion plastered on Dipper's face.
"Uh... I meant, of course! Heheh..." I felt sweat trickling down my forehead as I stood there, awkwardly staring into Dipper's eyes. I could look at them all day, if he let me.
This time, I was the one to suddenly be hugged as I saw the boy throw himself at me.
"Thank you..." I heard him whisper in my ear.
I couldn't help but hug back. "You're welcome."
Just like the last hug we had, I didn't want to let go. It made me feel so warm and safe. Reading Dipper's mind, I could tell he thought the same.Dipper's PoV
"Are you reading my thoughts?" I asked. I could sense my mind being read, though I couldn't describe it. I felt Bill's ear brush against mine as he nodded his head.
"You wanna watch a movie...?" He asked, hearing that thought.
I nodded this time, and we both let go to sit on my bed.The television covered most of the wall, like a cinema screen. The pictures on the screen flickered to life and before I knew it, my favourite movie was playing. I felt Bill scoot himself up next to me, and I couldn't help but put my head on his shoulder.
Frick, he might notice that I'm acting a bit... clingy. Just before I was about to move back and apologise, I felt his arm wrap around my shoulder, pulling me in close. My heart was pounding out of my chest and I could barely concentrate on the movie.
After a few minutes, I relaxed and 'cuddled' with Bill. The movie was about to end, before my eyes began to feel heavy. In just a few seconds, I fell asleep.
