chapter three: Bring in the guns!

Levy P.O.V

I climbed up the stairs, carrying a huge pile of books in my arms.

"Need some help?"

I peered over the books and smiled at a girl with brown hair who was smiling at me. I thanked her as she took half of the pile as we ascended the steps up to the library.

When we finally reached the top, we shoved ourselves against the double doors to open it. Then I stopped dead in my tracks.

"What on earth..."

The library, or what was left of it, had been torn apart. The books were scattered on the floor off shelves, some torn and ripped out pages. The chairs were turned upside down or tipped. The laptops were unclipped from their slot and the walls were splattered with paint.

"What the heck happened here?" I muttered.

"Looks like somebody sabotaged the library," the brown haired girl said, matter of factly. She placed down the books on a table and examined the room.

"Hey check this out," she called.

I put down the books and went over to where she was standing. My eyes widened as I saw the words 'Down with the Dorks' spray painted on top of the library name.

"Who would do such a thing?" I gasped.

"The only thing I can think of is-"

"Stop right where you are!"

We spun round in fear. A boy surrounded by 2 girls were standing at the doors with a teacher behind them.

"You've been caught red handed."

Natsu P.O.V

I hid behind the wall, keeping quiet.

"You won't believe what happened," I heard Lisanna say. "One of the dorks bust into our secret meet up place and trashed it."

"That's just cruel."

"Deep."

"Don't worry," she said. "If they ruin our place then we'll ruin there's."

I heard a few mutters and laughs.

"What if we get caught?"

"We'll frame one of the dorks," Lisanna plotted. "What about that Levy girl, she really gets on my nerves."

Oh no, Levy!

I had to warn her, but would she believe a jock like me. Or would she just think I'm playing with her?

What's more, how could Lisanna be so cruel. What has the dorks ever done to her? I stepped back and accidently bumped into a locker.

A head peeped round the wall.

"Hiya Lisanna," I said nervously.

But she just smiled at me. Lisanna is queen of Popular's as well as head of the cheerleading squad, so she was wearing her cheer dress.

"Natsu," she said slowly. "What are you doing here?"

"I... er... forgot my lucky sweatband," I lied.

"When did you have a lucky sweatband ?"

I shrugged and waved bye to her. Lisanna just watched me go.

Does she know that I heard every word she said?

Lucy P.O.V

I tied my hair into a ponytail and secured it with a red ribbon. The hall was full of people who were trying out for the cheerleading squad. I was beginning to feel nervous as I saw their practice.

Some of them were doing cartwheels into splits, and some were doing flexible stretches. I decided to warm up by doing simple arm stretches.

"Lucy!"

I turned and saw Natsu running towards me, with his scarf flying behind him.

"Hey, Natsu?" I said slowly. "Are you trying out?"

Natsu laughed as I stared at him in confusion. When he stopped laughing, he looked all serious like.

"Levy's in trouble," he said to me and told me all about Lisanna's plan.

"But she's your girlfriend," I cried. "Levy's innocent."

Natsu shrugged and said that we had to do something.

"But I have tryouts today!"

"Well then, your just going to have to miss it," he grinned at me. I rolled my eyes at him as he pulled my arm.

"They must have gone to the library, it is a place where they hang out."

We crept up to the library and hid behind the door.

Caught in action

We watched as we saw a guy and two girls wreck the library. I looked at the damage they were causing. Chairs were upturned and paint spraying. I took out my phone and started taking pictures, Natsu doing the same. Then I went to the six form library to print it out.

"Proof."

Natsu P.O.V

I was so close to asking Lucy for her number, as she took pictures of the act I wanted to say something.

I let her go to her cheerleading squad and explained to Lisanna that she was with me. I could tell she was jealous but she just smiled and nodded.

Then I went to my event in the Gym Hall for basketball practice.

I suppose that I'm known for being a player in high school, but that was only like a year ago. But when I found Lisanna I fell in love with her, instantly.

She was cute and had a good personality but this year she has changed dramatically.

I mean, she knows my secret. I told her in the summer, and yes she took it as a shock, but she still loved me. I love her.

But I'm not too sure now. I'm starting to like Lucy, but I don't think she likes me the same way. She just knows me as a big headed jock, while she is a soon to be cheerleader.

Life sucks.

I have these feelings for her, but I don't want to be known as a player again.
Do I?

Levy P.O.V.

"We didn't do anything, it was like this when we came!" I explained

"Liars!"

I saw the glint in their eyes, the way they looked so innocent. The way they were so guilty.

They were the popular's. The popular people in the school, some of them just think their popular, when they ain't.

They set us up. But why?

We stood in the head teachers office, Principal Makarov.

I lowered my head in shame as the girl and I looked at our shuffling feet.

He had pictures scattered on his desk, some of the wrecked library and some of the school wall which was also wrecked.

"We didn't do either," the girl muttered. "I promise."

I tried to blink back my tears. I hate the popular's to my guts. I find them snobbish and selfish and if I'm right, I'm pretty sure that the popular's hate us too.

It's like world war III had begun without the need of Donald Trump.

Bring up the guns cuz war has begun.
