Chapter seventeen: Natsu and Lisanna

Natsu P.O.V

"AGHHHHHH!" I raged, flinging my pencil onto the table, for it to roll onto the floor. "Screw math!"

Gray picked up the pencil and chewed it in between his teeth. "your falling behind in math as it is Natsu, you have to WORK with math." 

The pencil froze in his mouth and his teeth clanged against it. Gray cried out in pain and dropped the frozen pencil. 

"Still getting used to your ice magic?" I smirked. Gray scowled and clutched his left cheek in agony. I packed away my math book. "I got to go anyway, Lucy and I said we would meet in the library, I promised her I would teach her magic."

gray looked up at me in interest. I yawned, then closed the door behind me. 

I walked along the corridors and towards the lockers to see someone familiar leaning against it. I stopped and the girl looked up at me.  Lisanna. I looked away and turned to walk away but I felt warm hands grasp my arm.

"Lets talk," she said, her big blue eyes shining. I stared into her blue eyes, it was so warm, so lost. I almost wanted to pick her up into my arms but then remembered: Leon.

I pulled my arm away from her and went to the library, leaving Lisanna speachless. When i got to the library, I scanned to see if Lucy was already there, but she was nowhere to be seen. 

"Perhaps she 's late," I muttered, glancing at my watch. I sat down a blue plush beanbag and waited patiently.

Lucy P.O.V

"Wait, so your telling me that my mom was a celestial wizard and that I inheritred that magic and that key was meant to be mine... and my father knew all about it but didn't want to tell me!" I cried out. 

Aquarius nodded. I didn't believe it. My own my mother, when she died I thought I had lost her forever, be she had left me a peice of her. But my father hid it away from me...why?

"I don't understand any of this," Levy said, stepping forward. "Where does all thismagic come from and how did our friends get magic when they didnt even know they had it in the first place."

Aquarius sighed. "I think that everyone's magic potential was hidden until this moment, maybe something jogged it, you know something like a switch," she tried to explain. 

"So the reason everyone has magic now is due to some switch?" questioned Levy.

"So everyone already had magic in their blood, its just jogging a little earlier... or later than it should have been," I said. Then turned to Levy. Levy nodded. I then turned to Aquarius. "So, your mine?"

Aquarius scowled. "Well to call me yours would be an over statement, but theoretically yes," she answered. "To summon me you just have to open the gate and I'll come whenever you need me... IN EMERGENCIES!"

I shivered in fear and obedience. "Yes ma'am." Aquarius then disappeared in a poof of smoke, the golden key gleamed as I picked it up and let it rest in the middle of my palm. 

Lisanna P.O.V

I pushed open the door to the library to see Natsu sitting on a plush cushion by himself. Slowly, I walked towards him and sat down opposite him. Natsu grunted at my presence. 

"Natsu," I muttered, clutching my skirt. He said nothing, he looked away. "I heard about all the magic that's been going around lately, I find it quite hard to believe it myself."

"I know your the last person you want to talk to right now," I continued tentatively. "But, I came to apologise even so. But what I've done an apology wont be an enough."

"Your right," I heard his voice mutter. "I loved you Lisanna but I could see that that wasn't enough."

"It was enough!" I cried, collapsing against his chest. I felt his heartbeat thump against his chest. "I was just blind to see that I was wrong and your the one I want to be with forever!"

Natsu stayed still. "Get off me," he said coldly. My eyes widened. He had said those words so brutally, it pierced my heart. I pushed myself away from him. 

"I'm meant to be meeting Lucy right now," Natsu said. My eyes lowered and I clenched my fists.

"That Lucy girl is all you talk about," I grunted as I blinked back tears of fury. "You like her don't you... DON'T YOU!" 

Natsu said nothing. 

"As I expected," I muttered. "When will you see that Lucy is just using you, she isn't like any of the other girls, she STOLE my life."

"The only one who stole your life was yourself Lisanna," Natsu said, standing up. "Don't you dare blame Lucy for your mistakes."

I stood up, tears streaming down my cheeks. "Lucy," I muttered, before turning away. 

I hated LUCY. I was going to get LUCY, if it was the last thing I do. 

Natsu P.O.V

I sighed and collapsed back into my plush beanbag to see Lucy hovering above me. 

"Am I late?" she cried, waving a golden key in her hand. 

"Lucy..." I muttered, my eyes widening. 

"Call me Lucy the celestial wizard now," she grinned at me.
