I scowled, folding my arms and raising an eyebrow. "This better be good," I muttered as Ultear examined the book case in front of us.

She pulled on one of the books and turned. I followed her gaze, as the book case began to split open. I poked my head inside.

"What is this place?"

Ultear shrugged. "Secret rooms always mean one thing- hidden secrets."

I focused as I examined the book in front of me. It was an interesting read about a world of dragon and wizards- sounding all too familiar to be a myth. I turned the paged; the story followed a peaceful town of magic which soon turned into chaos when dragons terrorized and burnt down their quite village.

"Luce?"

I snapped the book shut, but then breathed a sigh of relief when I realise that it was only Natsu. Glancing at the clock, I noticed that the others would be back soon, hopefully with the dragon crystals they were collecting.

"What you up to?" Natsu grinned at me, then noticed the book in my hand. "Dragons and Wizards, eh?"

His face fell. "It's an interesting read," I muttered. Then tilted my head. "Is everything alright?"

Natsu suddenly looked up and smiled at me, as if he never had hesitated. "Of course!" he said, reassuringly. I nodded before turning back to me book.

"Actually I-

"Lucy!" cried Levy storming into the room. "We found the missing piece!"

"As did we," said Juvia, entering the room after her. Gray and Gajeel followed. I stood up, but Levy and Juvia both explained on how they had agreed to help search for the missing piece.

Levy glanced around. "Has anyone seen Erza?"

I blinked. she was right, Erza wasn't here. Had she perhaps ran into trouble while looking or the missing piece? I hoped she was alright.

"Which flavour would you like to try now, miss?"

Erza drooled over the beautiful display of cupcakes laying on the table in front of her. "We have salted caramel, chocolate and melted raspberry."

No sound came from Erza as she just stared at the paradise of cupcakes in front of her.

Natsu p.o.v

i wanted to tell her I really did. But not now, not when she was so determined to revive her mother. Not when she was so close from being happy.

"What if the magic in the dragon crystal is evil," I blurted before I could stop myself. Oh shit. Now what have I done, Lucy will probably think I don't want her to carry out with her plan.

Lucy turned to me, I looked away. "I mean, who knows what we will unleash when we put together the dragon crystal."

"It will revive my mother," Lucy said slowly. I bit my lip and began shuffling my feet. How could I tell her the truth? "Besides, we're doing a good thing, unleashing the magic that was stolen from this world."

I said nothing. Levy looked up from her mobile anxiously. "Erza isn't picking up, do you think she's in trouble?" she panicked.

"Calm down Levy, Erza can handle herself," Juvia comforted, placing a hand on her shoulder.

Gray grunted. "Gajeel and I will go search for Erza, and make sure we bring the missing piece of the dragon crystal."

"I'll come to," I said but was pulled back by Lucy, who clutched my arm.

"No," she muttered quietly, her eyes flickered. She raised her gaze to mine. "No, you need to tell me the truth."

"You need to tell me everything."
