Chapter Twenty Two: The power Crystals

Lisanna P.O.V

"All he talks about is Lucy, Lucy Lucy," I muttered under my breath. "I hate her, I hate Lucy. Why did she have to ruin everything." 

I clenched my fists angrily and a black flame conjured and burned darkly. I took a deep breath and my flame weakened, I had to learn how to control my magic. I walked through the corridors, my head down, when I accidently bumped into someone. 

"Sorry," said a voice I didn't recognise, which was weird as I knew everyone in this school. "I'm new here and I  wasn't looking where I was going."

I looked up to be face to face with a black haired girl which swept past her shoulders. She had brown eyes that glistened. "I'm Ultear Milkovich," she smiled at me. "You must be... Lisanna Strass?"

I took a step back. "How do you know my name?" I asked uncertainly. 

"I took the time to study the students in my class so it would be easy to recognise everyone," Ultear explained, then grinned. "Creepy right."

I nodded slowly. 

"I'm harmless," she continued, then frowned. "Only, I'm not sure if you are. I've heard there's been some supernatural occurrences here."

I gasped. Had everyone outside Fairy tail discovered their secret? Ultear giggled. "don't worry, the principle told me about it." Then she tilted her head. "Whats your power?"

I looked away, and felt my face flush. "Its not all that great, I guess," I admitted. "Hey, wanna walk home together?" 

Ultear smiled and nodded. "I'd like that."

We walked out of the double doors of the school buildings and into the open where students were leaving to go home. I was about to turn to head home; when Ultear pulled at my shirt and pointed. 

"Whose he?" asked Ultear, pointing to a pink haired guy. I glanced at him. 

"Oh that's Natsu," I muttered. "He's my... well WAS my boyfriend." Ultear frowned and asked what happened. "See that girl with the blonde hair," I pointed. I saw Lucy, walking with Levy, arms linked. "That girl s our enemy, she framed me and stole Natsu away from me."

"Ah..." Ultear said, then muttered something under her breath. I turned to look at her.

"What did you say?" I asked her curiously. 

"Nothing," she said quietly. "Come, lets go home." 

Gray P.O.V

Juvia took a step back, I turned round to face her. She had tears running down her cheeks. 

"Gray, I... I love you so much," she wept, wiping her ters with the sleeve of her blouse. I watched her as she confessed her feelings. "I want to be with you forever, have kids with you, a future..."

I lowered my eyes. "Juvia I-

"I understand," she bawled. "Maybe we just weren't meant to be!" Then she turned around and fled down the streets. 

"Juvia!" I cried after her. But she was gone. I sighed and kicked the stones under my feet. 

Why did Life have to be so difficult?

"Ah, Gray," a voice said behind me that I recognised. I spun around and smiled. It was Natsu, he waved at me. "Can we talk, I really need someone right now."

I looked into Natsu's eyes; it looked like he was about to burst into tears. I felt like almost doing the same. 

"Sure," I answered. We sat down on a nearby wall. "You got problems too," I said. "I always thought you were fearless, Fearless Natsu."
