Chapter five: mixed emotions

Natsu P.O.V

Damn I messed up.

I sighed and went home. When I opened the door, I saw Gray and Gajeel feasting on the sofa. There were packets of Cheetos and rainbow candy. In between them was a bowl of pop corn.

"Hey Natsu, your mum let us in and told us to help ourselves until you came back," Gajeel said.

"So we are," Gray smiled. "By the way are there any chips?"

I looked at all the food scattered across the table and furniture in horror.

Number one rule:
don't touch my food

I shot them a dirty look before slowly walking towards them.

"Your eating my food," I growled.

"Bro calm yourself, well left you some kebabs!"

I froze.

"The kebabs..."

Rule number two:
Never EVER eat the kebabs.

Lucy P.O.V

I can't believe I did that. I just walked away from Natsu. Why? I mean, it's not his fault that he has a disorientated girlfriend.

But it's weird, what this feeling I have that makes me feel... different. I felt myself blushing.

I don't like Natsu... right.

Of course not, he likes Lisanna. Lisanna likes him. I haven't got a chance.

Not that I want one.

I pushed open my front door of my "castle".

One of my maids, Virgo, greeted me.

"Welcome back Lucy," Virgo smiled.  "How was school?"

"It was great, thanks Virgo." I lied before climbing up a flight of stairs.

I've got cheerleading practice with the basketball team tomorrow. That means I have to see Natsu. But I messed up, I made him hate me.

I hate myself.

This Natsu, he seams like a really nice guy. But I can't be crushing on him if he is with Lisanna. It's less likely that Lisanna will let go of him, he is a classified jock.

I sighed.

Oh Natsu... why did I fall for you?

Natsu P.O.V.

I panted in exhaustion. I had wrestled Gajeel and Gray to the ground but of course Gajeel managed to get at me.

"Natsu, are you OK?  Grajeel asked.  "You seem fired up."

"Its probably that Lucy girl, I can't lie but she is smokin'," Gray said.

I said nothing but eventually gave up in sighed. I slumped into a chair.

"Its Lucy alright," I explained. "I messed up."

"What do you mean?"

"As in, she walked away from me and didn't come back," I said. "We had a fight."

"About.. "

"Lisanna."

Gray raised an eyebrow. But Gajeel laughed, I looked up at him.

"Oh Natsu, my old boy," he said, smacking me hard on the back.

I winced.

"I think you have feelings for Lucy," he said. "In fact, I know you have feelings for Lucy."
