Chapter eight: Broken ships

Author note: I decided to use Lyon cuz Bickslow doesn't suit this story and his character.

Natsu P.O.V.

Poor Lucy. Poor Mira-jane.

I suppose I'm giving Lucy a hard time, especially as I aren't as close to Lisanna no more. Lisanna seems to be out for Lucy and I think this is my partly my fault. Gray understood.

"I understand what you mean, but Lisanna hated Lucy before you guys were even a thing," Gray pointed out. "Nobody is to blame but herself, she lost you."

Lyon

"Who is this Lyon guy anyway?"

Lyon was a guy who had attended Lammas scale Academy but transferred to Sabertooth. I had known Lyon since I was a boy and we were forever having arguments.

"How come I don't remember this guy and I've known you since you were young?" Gray questioned.

"Don't you remember?" I grinned. Gray shook his head."You and Lyon had a massive row resulting in you hammering his head in but instead hammering your own- god knows how you managed that."

Gray shuddered. "Oh yeah, I was in a coma after, I don't remember much."

Typical Gray

Lucy P.O.V.

"Do you need help?" I offered.

Mira-jane shook her head. "I'll manage, besides I gotta get better before the match." She gave me a weak smile.

She say down next to me in the cafeteria, he crutches laying on one side.

"Mira... I need to ask you something," I started.

"Shoot away!" She said, eating slices of apple.

I paused. "How did Natsu and Lisanna come together in the first place?"

This time Mira-jane paused. Then finally, "She used to be with Bickslow."

"Bickslow?"

"Bickslow. He and Lisanna were like a knot tied triple," she said. "They were really close and Lisanna was a different person then."

"What happened to him?" I asked slowly, with a lump in my throat

"Stolen."

I blinked at her in awe and amusement.

"He moved house and school, they kept in contact for a while but then..." Mira slurped her orange juice. I waited patiently till she finished. "He found her."

"Who?" I asked.

"Meredy or someting," she explained. "Lisanna was heartbroken, and she was in depression for a while."

"After Natsu transferred to Fairytail High and so yeah, they hit off as good friends first but then they began to like eachother."

I nodded slowly. "And now Lisanna's gone off with Lyon-"

"Lyon?" I repeated.

"Yeah," Then she looked up at me in curiosity. "Why you know him?"

"Sorta." I shrugged. "Natsu broke up with Lisanna after she cheated on him."

Mira-jane said nothing, she carried on eating.

"Mira?"

She looked up with a mouthful of Marshmallows. We both cracked with laughter.

"No," she said after the final giggle escaped. "I think it was for another reason."

"What do you mean?" I asked slowly.

"I meant that he was going to break up with her even if she didn't kiss Lyon," she said, not looking at me.

"Why?" I muttered. Natsu wouldn't break up with her for no reason.

Mira suddenly looked up at me, blushing slightly.

"Lucy, tell me something," she said slowly.

"Do you like Natsu?"

Lisanna P.O.V

I sat on a wall, the wind kissing my cheeks. I felt for my hair: it used to be long. I cut it. For Bickslow.

"Hey."

I looked up. Lyon. What was he doing here? His eyes looked greyer than blue and his hair was pale. He had a smile that covered his frosty appearance. But it made me feel guilty.

"What's wrong?" Soft hands touched my chin. I looked up at the steel eyes, my eyes closed to brimming with tears.

"Nothing," I sighed, dropping my gaze. Lyon chuckled slightly.

"Your sitting on this wall in the cold while you could be sitting on a soft bed, warm," Lyon said. "Besides your close to tears."

I wiped away a tear that had escaped my eyes. I didn't want to tell him: tell him that our kiss started all this. No I couldn't, absolutely couldn't...

"It was the kiss, wasn't it?" He said, sitting next to me. I felt my heart skipped a beat.

"I... er..."

But he put his finger to my lips. "It was a foolish action, I take full responsibility of the consequences - ruining your relationship with Natsu."

"You know about that?" I asked my eyes widened.

Lyon P.O.V

I had done it. It was easy. I stole Natsu's girl. This is what you get Natsu for doing beating me in every fight. Humiliating me like a jackal. And here I was, manipulating Lisanna's mind: she's such a toy.

I smiled at her as she cried, tears falling down her face. She looked so pretty I almost pitied her.

Almost .

"Lisanna, Natsu was going to ditch you sometime - it's not the first time," I said. "You deserve better."

"You really think so?" I asked slowly drying my own tears.

"I know so."

OK guys I decided to add a bit of magic into it otherwise the story won't make much sense. I'm trying not to confuse you by the Epilogue I wrote before. Thx for reading
