Lucy P.O.V

I allowed Cana to guide me to her table- I didn't dare glance back at the disappointing glares from Levy not to mention Natsu. No, I felt this overwhelming sense of guilt...

Was Levy right, was I being selfish?

Cana broke my chain of thought. "Rumour tells me your trying to start a dragon war," she grinned in my ear.

I flinched as if she had accused me of doing something so horrific- and she wasn't particularly wrong but she wasn't right either. I called it collateral damage, you couldn't blame me for wanting to see my mother for the first time - surely everyone would understand.

"That not-

Cana brought her finger to my lips, hushing me instantly. She motioned for me to sit, and I did, placing my tray on the table, my chips soggy from soaking in the school's watery gravy.

"Shhhh," she hushed. "I want to help you."

I blinked at her in confusion.

"Lets just say, I know what its like you know, not having a parent in your life," she almost justified. I narrowed my eyes in suspicion.

"What's in it for you?"

Cana shifted uncomfortably. "There's this spell..." she started. "Fairy Glitter... its ancient. But if this dragon war really can bring back all the magic, then maybe-

But I didn't get to hear Cana's maybe's, because Cana's friends began to sit around us and the conversation came to a sudden halt. Cana placed her hand on my shoulder, smiling half heartedly at me and muttered, "Think about it."

And I did.

In class, I get tapping my foot rhymtically on the floor and chewing the end of my pencil like a canine. I longed to see my mother more than ever now - but my friends, no ex - friends were in the way. All I had to do was get my hands on those crystals.

As soon was class was over I reached for my phone.

I'm in

LEVY P.O.V

Watching Lucy turn her back on me hurt me. I had grown to see Lucy as a sister than a best friend, could this really be it? Was she choosing herself over us?

"Forget her," Gajeel exclaimed dramatically, slapping his thigh. "We have the crystals now we just have to put it somewhere safe for nobody to find it and job done."

"Only its not job done," I huffed. "Magic is still going awry, things need to go back to the way things were... without magic."

"But wasn't magic here originally?" Gajeel exasperated.

I rolled my eyes. "And look how that turned out."

Natsu looked up. "But is the crystal capable of such a thing, sucking magic I mean?"

"Its done it before, I'm sure it can do it again, only this time permanently." I reassured.

Erza wiped the cake smear from her mouth and looked seriously at them. "So is that the plan?"

I nodded slowly. "Its the plan."

Lisanna P.O.V

I started to grow impatient. This was all moving along too slowly. My phone vibrated in my pocket.

Ultear was proving to be useless and so I had to turn to more drastic measures, she hummed beside me, unaware of my new plan.

She's in

I grinned to myself in self delight and turned to Ultear.

She looked up at me hopefully.

NO P.O.V

"Things are turning out pretty good, don't you think, Lisanna?"

An evil grin spread across her face and her silver hair swayed in the wind.

"It won't be long before all the cliques will hate each other," she said. "And its negative energy shall feed the dragon crystals."

"Shame we'll have to find them ourselves."

"There not far," Lisanna said. "I can feel there somewhere in this school.

"Once the dragon crystals unite, then we will be powerful and nobody can stop us from gaining the respect you deserve!"
