I felt a hand grabbing me. My eyes opened and I was paniced. The eyes that greeted me were kind and happy to see me.
"Adrien," she whispered, the voice comforting me.
"Mom," I tried to say, but I was mute.
She just smiled and her hand ran along my face.
"You're so handsome, just like your father. I love both of you so much."
I love you so much!
"I'm sorry, but I'm gone, my boy. I was here too long, the only parts that went back to the living were my alter ego. She's not truly me. Don't be sad, I'll see you eventually." She laughed slightly with a timid smile "but not too soon, okay?" She kissed my forehead and hugged me. "Be careful out there, you're so brave but make sure you stay safe."
I love you, mom. I felt a breeze against my skin where she was kissing my forehead. How do I get back?
"Your friend is very pretty and she'll defeat Mayura and bring you back. But, be honest with her?" She winked and touched my chest where my heart was. "You were meant for each other so don't mess it up by lying to her."
I nodded and smiled at my mom, laughing and crying at the same time. My field of vision turned completely black and I felt like I was traveling.
