"I hate you." I stared at Alya, who was social media stalking once I told her about the fencing incident.
"THIS BOY IS GABRIELLE AGRESTE'S SON! YOU KNOW! THE FASHION DESIGNER YOU IDIOLIZE? Also, he's really cute." She would occasionally turn her phone around to show me pictures of him. Apparently he was a model in training, but his dad was yet to give him any fashion line that would completely make him famous.
"You know, it's really scary how good you are at finding people. I literally only said his first name and you showed up with a headshot in less than thirty seconds."
"I'm training to be a journalist! I'd be disappointed in myself if it took me any longer!"
We laughed together as class started and got quiet as Ms. Bustier took role.
And then the classroom rumbled.

"Okay, is that the right type of cheese?" I asked. It was camembert so it should be the right one, but he seemed to be extremely picky. Also, the smell was horrible.
"This will do." He took more bites, trying to not seem too eager to consume the disgusting cheese. Adrien waited for him to finish and then took off his ring so he would disappear again, then left to go talk to his father.
"It's been a while," he said as he approached his dad. "I think Ladybug might start to forget about her cat partner in crime."
Gabrielle nodded as he stopped working, excusing himself to the observatory. Adrien waited a minute and then transformed into Cat Noir.

It was always hard excusing myself from class without raising suspicion. Alya was on a manhunt for the secret identity of Ladybug, so being her best friend was difficult. When she had gotten to the scene in her alter ego, Cat Noir was already holding the akuma. When he saw me, he ripped the object in half and I converted the butterfly back to good.
"How did you get here so fast?" I asked him. I was amazed at how much easier my job was than with the first akuma where I was all by myself.
"I can't let the cat out of the bag," he said with a smug grin on his face. Although it was kind of ridiculous, the puns were kind of endearing.
I groaned but also laughed and then fist bumped him, smiling the entire time. "Thank you so much," I said as he faced me, "it's great to have such an amazing partner."
"My paw-leasure." He realized I wasn't laughing and asked, "too much?"
I nodded as I flew off back to school, needing to pretend like I was there the entire time of the earthquakes.
