A/N: Since they are magic animals I thought why not give them the same time as a human to simplify things a bit but of course the animals can live waaaaay longer than any of the humans.

One night deep in the forest by a river and on the mountainsides, a white wolf stood tall looking down upon a high rock. Seeking more than just the moon that night, it walked silently through the trees and to the river where a black and white furred husky stood drinking peacefully from the river. The husky lifted it's head ever so slightly to notice the wolf walking over to where it stood before lifting it up entirely to greet the wolf.
"Hello...what's someone like you doing here?" the husky asked in a soft gentle voice.
"I'm just taking a stroll..." he replied vaguely giving no other clue as to why he came down before taking a sip from the cool river water.
"Oh. Well... you'd best go soon. Humans don't take to wolves very much," the husky warned before returning to the river for another drink.
"And why would you help me?" he asked curiously
"Because I do not judge those immediately and foolishly like the humans," she replied before walking off to where she came from, leaving the wolf in confusion as he watched her stroll back towards the human neighborhood. Giving a shrug the wolf strolled back up the hill he came from and howled at the full moon which shone brightly in the darkness.
