Two-Bit and I stroll into the supermarket on this blistering June day. We walk straight over to the cold aisle to cool ourselves down and to look for something cold for us to eat. Ice cream sounded really good to us, especially how it was almost one hundred degrees outside. While looking around through the freezer, I notice there already had Halloween decorations covering a section of the decoration aisle.
"Oh my gosh Two look." I say with disgust. "It's July, why do they have Halloween stuff out?"
"Oh my God!" Two-Bit answers, running towards the aisle. I remember how excited he was last Halloween, we went trick-or-treating with Pony and Johnny last year. He's in love with haunted houses and scaring everyone with them. We went to six last year.
I shake my head and make my way back to him. "Seriously?"
He was covered with a black and orange boa, looking at the costumes. "I love Halloween!"
"I know, but it's June," I say, "there's still the fourth of July and ..."
"It doesn't matter Y/N," he tells me, "Halloween should be celebrated all the time."
"It's the same thing with celebrating Christmas early, like skipping over Thanksgiving." I explain, "It's wrong and degrading to other holidays."
"What do you know about a skipped holidays?" He asks me. "National Doughnut Day is a holiday that is always skipped."
"Right." I say and laugh.
"That poor, poor holiday." He turns around with a skeleton mask on with his boa now tied on his forehead.
I laugh at him, just like I do every time we're together. I walk towards him, pull off his mask, and kiss him. He's so cute when he's fooling around, that's why I love him. That and many other reasons.
"I love you and your crazy self." He smiles and pulls me closer, grabbing my butt. I squeal. "Two, we're in public."
"I don't care." I says, grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the store.
