Ellie’s POV

“Annie i am fine” i tell her for the 100th time today.

Ever since James dropped me off at homeroom Annie has been bothering me and asking if i am okay.

“You sure? Because don't forget that i know you, you are my best friend.” she tell me.

“Annie i am fine. Can we just act like we are normal?” i ask her hopefully.

She sighs in defeat, and i smile.

“Fine. so was it annoying walking into school?”

“Ugh yes. I just wanted to rip off their body parts and feed it to them.” Annie smiles at this

“Ugh girl i missed you this past week!” she shouts. I smile, and notice that Nick isnt here yet.

“Hey, where's nick?” i ask Annie. She gives me a small smile and sighs.

“Well. he is sort of suspended until wednesday” i widen my eyes. WHY?!

“WHAT? WHY!” i shout at her. I see people looking over at me because i just yelled in the class.

Oh well, they can fight me.

“Well ever since you and James found out… the whole school did too. And on thursday these group of guys were talking about you, and saying and i quote ‘now Ellie is gonna be sad and depressed and i can't get her to bang me anymore’ and Nick heard that and went up to the guy and beat him up pretty bad, and got suspended.” my eyes were just ready to pop out.

“Ugh guys are such pigs! Remind me to thank Nick” i tell her. She nods.

“So how is James holding up?” Curious annie asks me. If you have forgotten Annie has a crush on James, so of course she wants to know about him.

“Annie?” she gave me her attention. “He's fine. I think. But you really need to get over this crush you have on him” Annie blushes.

“It's not a crush it's an attraction” she tells me on a ‘duh’ tone.

“Mmm-kay”

“So have you talked to Alex at all?” she questions me. Hmm should i tell her

everything or just say no. i mean she is my best friend.

So i finished telling her everything that happened and she looks like she is going to pass out

“Oh emm gee. I can't believe you kissed him!!!” she yells at my face. It's not that important right?

“It was a cheek kiss it doesn't mean anything, and it's not like i haven't kissed him before” i told her in a matter-of-fact tone.

“It doesn't matter!!! You sooooo like him” she coos

“Ew. no i don't” right?

Yes, right i don't like him like that. He probably just wants to get into my pants.

“Mmm-kay” she mimicked me.

Ugh why do people do that?

I huffed and turned my head to the teacher

“Come on Annie i'm starving!” i yell at Annie she is taking FOREVER and i need food.

“Okay, okay let's go”

We start to make our way to the lunch room when i hear my name being called out. I ignore it and keep walking to the lunch room because i'm hungry.
