SIX.

I woke up in the middle of the night, my friends and family fast asleep around me. Getting out of my bed, I gently shook Lily awake after I placed a hand over her mouth so she wouldn't make a sound and she nodded, understanding what I wanted. Lily kissed Hector's cheek and left his hug. We dressed into leggings, hoodies and put trainers on our feet that we took from my wardrobe. Exiting the room, we ran to the garden. Once there, we came to the portal and I opened the old wooden door. Lily and I entered the room and came face to face with a lagoon inside a cave.

"Promise me you want to be here with me. You are helping me as a friend, not because I'm the Princess and you're my pack member."

"I promise. What do we have to do?" She looked at the water and then back at me.

"We have to jump into the water and imagine a place or a person we want to see. Since I control this, you need to clear your mind. I know where Axel is at the moment. I never saw him in person so I will try to track him by his name; I think it will work because his dad leads the Alphas in Greece and that means he is very powerful. The fact that I've been to Australia will help us more. If it doesn't work, we will stay here in the water. Then, we'll try again and again until we succeed. Do you understand?" Lily nodded and I took her hand. She gripped my hand and I smiled to assure her everything will be alright. I looked at her and pointed at her head. She closed her eyes and started to clear her mind and I took my time to relax. When I had only Axel's name and the Headquarters in Australia on my mind, Lily and I jumped in and I prayed it would work. Seconds before we touched the water I smelled blood, but it was too late to think about it because the portal started working.

When I opened my eyes, we were in front of a huge building. Lily was beside me and I was grateful she was there with me. When I took a step, I felt extremely dizzy and had to catch Lily's arm for support.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm..." I started coughing and when I removed my hand from my mouth, I saw dark red splotches all over it. My eyes widened in shock.

"Rose! What is going on?" When I realized what was going on, I was furious.

"One of them lied. Either Axel lied to his father or Theseus lied to me. He's not here. He's somewhere else." Lily gasped at the mention of lying to the Royal family and then widened her eyes when she looked at me.

„Your nose is bleeding really bad and your eyes are changing colour from green to violet." She said and right at that moment, I felt the metallic taste of blood in my mouth. I spit it out and Lily shrieked in shock.

"My condition is getting worse. We need to go back. Hold both of my hands, tightly." She did as I asked and we came home in a flash. I pulled Lily out of the water and we left the portal room. We walked back to the castle and just as we were about to enter the ballroom, I fell to the floor, screaming in pain. I heard faint voices around me and then Lily's face came into my vision.

"Don't worry. I...I'll be fine." She started to cry and Hector pulled her away from me. No one dared to touch me because they all knew what was going on. About four hours later, I felt the pain disappear and I could take a breath again. I sat up on the cold floor and saw everyone looking at me with worried faces.
