After a full hour of fighting Marcos, I had him in a tight grip and was waiting for him to give up. He was a great fighter, but it was time for him to stop being a dickhead. I squeezed his neck even harder and he went limp in my hands; he was knocked out. I mind-linked Kaly to come sit beside him and wait for him to wake up. She apologized a hundred times for his behaviour and I smiled at her.

"Kaly, it is not on you to apologize. He has to work on his temper while training with the pack. He is a great fighter, but he has to know that it is smarter to stop sometimes. I don't want anyone else to get hurt. He will work with someone else tomorrow. I don't feel like fighting with him again, make sure you tell him that. You did good today, I saw how you escaped that grip Gina had you in. When he wakes, go home with him. He needs you more than this training."

"Of course, Alpha. I'll make sure we work on that issue a little harder. And, thank you." I told others they can go back to their partners and continue what we started. I observed the scene before me and saw that some of the women were having a tough time defending themselves. Not good. I decided to help them a little. They bowed in respect once I approached them and I then explained where did they make the most of their mistakes. After I taught them some basic methods, they were beginning to understand and thanked me for my help. I went back to my usual spot and saw Lily sitting there, breathing heavily. She must have fought Lucas while I was gone because Lucas and Hector were now training with Gina who stayed alone after the incident her group had.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked Lily and sat beside her. She took a deep breath and nodded.

"Lucas is hard to beat. I can't imagine how hard it was to fight Marcos then!"

"You saw that?" I looked at her face and she had a huge smirk on her face. 

Oh, no.

"We saw that."

"Who is we?" I asked, very curious.

"Your parents, Tony, me and..."

"Axel." I finished for her and she grinned at me. 

Yes, I said his name. So?

"His bruises healed very quickly since he's an ex-Alpha. We went to the infirmary just to check his jaw. It looked bad and he decided to ask the doctor to set it right. It lasted for a few minutes and just as we were leaving the infirmary, Hector mind-linked me about the fight and I mind-linked your parents and Tony. Then, we all went to the library and watched you through that huge window.

This is what it looked and sounded like:

Alpha Rhys: AHA, BRAVE MOVE! SHE LET HIM COME AT HER!

Alpha Rhys: GET HIM, BABY GIRL! HIT HIM!

Alpha Amelia: *stares in surprise*

Tony: THAT'S MY GIRL!

Alpha Amelia: *still staring*

Alpha Rhys: YES, YES! TWIST HIS ARM, ROSE!

Me: KICK HIS BUTT, WONDERWOMAN! YOU CAN DO THIS, BABE!

Tony: I AM GOING TO BAKE THAT GIRL A MOUNTAIN OF CHOCOLATE MUFFINS.

Tony: OH, SHE WILL WIN THIS. OFF I GO. *leaves*

Alpha Amelia: Oh, my God. She really does know who to fight.

Alpha Amelia: *continues to stare in amazement*

Alpha Rhys: JESUS, ROSE! THAT WAS A SPECTACULAR BLOW!

Me: I TOLD YOU ALPHA, SHE IS A GODDESS! COMMON! SURRENDER, YOU FAT IDIOT! NOW, NOW, NOW!! *Marcos falls to the ground*

Alpha Rhys: HOLY MOTHERTRUCKER! SHE BEAT HIM! AMELIA, OUR DAUGHTER IS UNBELIEVABLE!!

Me, Alpha Rhys, Alpha Amelia: *jumping and screaming in joy*

Axel: *whispers* That's my girl. Proud of you, baby.

I almost screamed like the crazy person I am, but I knew it would be better if I pretended I didn't hear anything. Your dad sent him to bed to rest and I came back to tell you all this. Oh, I am so happy I heard that."

"First of all, I am glad Axel is alive. Secondly, I can literally imagine you guys screaming and jumping because I beat Marcos' ass. Thirdly, I hope Tony is really baking those muffins right now because I'm starving. Also, I hope what you heard was just Hector's voice in your head." She smiled all the way through my talk until I came to the last part. Then, her face changed into one of pure anger.

"Rosalina. Stop being so difficult." She spoke in a low voice and I shivered. She knows how to get to me, just like Hector.

"I told you before: I am fucking terrified of intimately devoting myself to someone."

"Give him a chance. If he fails you, you will know he is not the one. Just try to let go of the fear you have; it's completely irrational." I nodded and she hugged me, giving me comfort. I leaned my head on her shoulder and thought about her words.

Could I really trust Axel?

Will it be too hard for me to try and build something more with him?

What if he tricks me?

What if he lies to me, cheats?

I need to speak to Tony.
