ALPHA QUEEN

SEVENTEEN.

I was standing in the hallway, looking down at my ómbre Louboutin stilettos. Every time there was a dinner, all the guests had to dress fancy. It was annoying but kinda cool, too. I paired the stilettos with my skin-tight black dress. I saw that Axel was still not here and started to get nervous.

"You look ravishing, my love." I heard his deep voice and my heart skipped a beat. I lifted my head and turned it in his direction and...wow. He looked amazing; black suit, black button-up, black shoes. 

I was stunned.

"You don't look too bad yourself, Alpha." Once I said that last word, he took in a sharp breath.

Let me explain what just happened:

when I called him Alpha, he did not only get his own title back but got another one; Alpha Prince, mate of the Alpha Princess.

"Rosie, you...what did you just do?" He was leaning against the wall, catching his breath. I smiled up at him and leaned in, right beside his ear, whispering:

"I made you my Alpha and my King because you deserve it and because I love you." Then, I kissed him, pouring all my feelings in that little sign of love. And he gave me all his love, too.

I pulled back but pecked his cheek, to assure him I will not fail him this time. He smiled and took my hand.

"Ready for a show?" I asked and he looked at my face, not really knowing what I was talking about.

"Show your power, all of it. I want them to know who you are. I want them to know you are no servant of mine, but their Prince and my King. Okay?" Axel nodded and kissed my hand.

"Let's go. Mother says dinner is ready and that they are waiting in the dining room."

Little did they know I was bringing someone with me.

When we approached the staircase and I squeezed Axel's hand as a sign of comfort. Then, we started to walk down the steps, in sync. I was overwhelmed with happiness because us felt so right. We came in front of the huge doors that separated us from my family and the Alphas. Axel let go of my hand and slipped his hand around my waist, pulling me close.

"Here goes nothing, baby," I said as I opened the door and pushed them open with all my strength. Every single pair of eyes looked up and quickly bowed down to me and Axel. He relaxed and I placed my hand over his beating heart.

"Come, you'll be sitting by my side from now on." I stepped in front of him and walked in the direction of my seat. I pulled a chair from my left and placed it beside me. Then, when I sat down, Axel joined my side. Mother and father were sitting to my right and smiled at me and Axel. I looked at the Alphas and was satisfied to see that they were still on their knees.

"You may rise now," I ordered and they sat back on their places. They did look at Axel like he was a thorn in their butt, though. I told Axel through our newly formed mind-link that he should ignore it and act like me; like I don't give a damn. The food was already on the table and everyone was waiting for me to fill my plate so they could follow.

But I did something that surprised every single person in the room.

"Toni, sweetie!" He came into the room and looked at me, waiting for my words. "Could you, please, take this away?" My friend looked at the plate and realization filled his eyes.
