"Let me go out for a run with Hector! Athena will eat my brain if I don't go now." I pleaded my father and he sighed in, what seemed like, defeat.

"Okay. You have a half an hour to satisfy Athena and that's it." I hugged my father and bolted for the door. I have to go to Hector's house to ask him to accompany me to the forest; 15 minutes later, I was vigorously knocking on his front door.

"Rose, if you break my door, I will kill you." I heard from the other side and smiled in happiness. Hector opened the door all dressed up in his gear and I hugged him.

"Hey. Do you have time to go with me to the forest? Dad let me take a run."

"I'm sorry, Rose. I have to go train the pack warriors." Once he said that my heart sank. How will I lie to dad that Hector was with me when he obviously wasn't?

"I can go. I was just about to come to the castle to keep you company." Lily came on the front porch dressed into special clothes that don't rip during our shift; I had the same thing on.

"I would love that. Hector, are you letting her come? Pretty please?" I batted my eyelashes at him and he chuckled.

"I trust you more than anyone, Rose. Of course, you may go for a run together." Us girls squealed in delight and sprinted to the forest, but not before Lily kissed Hector. They are my favourite thing and it's really nice to see them so in love. When Lily and I were at the forest ground, we shifted. Her wolf was ginger, with blue eyes.

'Love your wolf. What's her name?' I said through the mind link when we started to run.

'Ruby. Your's is Athena, right?'

'Yes. Let's race a little and then we have to go back; my dad will freak out if we don't appear in front of him in 30 minutes.' Her wolf sent me a grin and I let Athena take over.

"That was great, we have to repeat it!" Lily gushed and I laughed.

"We will. Lily, do you feel like going to the shopping centre with me? I need to refresh my wardrobe."

"You are my saviour! I wanted to go there today but Hector told me he had no time to take me. So, yes! But who will come with us? We need a guard because you're sick..."

"I'll tell mom to come with us; Toni can go, too. He can guard us and buy the groceries he needs for tonight's dinner and whatever he wants for the next few days because Alphas eat a lot." She nodded in agreement and we went into my room to change and take a shower.

I let her have my black dress with sunflowers and she found a pair of wedges to finish her look. I went to take a shower after her and once I came out, she was swinging in my armchair.

"I chose an outfit for you. You will look badass but pretty at the same time." I saw my high-wasted jeans, a puce coloured tank top and my beige, net-like heels.

"You saw me take my favourite puce lingerie set; that's why you paired everything that way. Thank you, you're the best." She smiled and I got dressed quickly, so we could have more time to shop.

"Okay, let's go." I took my wallet-purse and we were off.

I found my mother in the saloon, drinking coffee. Toni was also there, telling her something that made her laugh. Lily and I approached them and mom looked up, surprised to see me all dressed up and in a mood to live. Oh, and that I'm actually hanging out with someone other than Hector.

"Rosalina, Lily! You girls look stunning. "

"Thank you, Alpha Queen." Lily bowed in respect and I hit her in the ribs.

"Lily, I told you a hundred times already; you are a part of the family. There's no need to use the titles." She looked at my mom and saw her smile. Lily relaxed and I decided to ask for the favour before it was too late.

"Mom, we were wondering if you and Toni would like to come to the shopping centre with us? I want to go out of this castle for a few hours. So, are you up for it?"

"That's fine by me. Amelia?" Toni looked at my mom who stood up and approached me.

"Honey, I am so glad you are feeling better. But..." Nu-uh. I am not staying here any longer.

"Mother, don't even try to say no."

"I wanted to say that we have to make sure we make it home before dinner so Toni can make us one. Of course we are going to the shopping centre! What is wrong with you? Who says no to shopping?" We laughed and ran towards the car that was waiting for us outside. Lily started fussing about the fact that she forgot her wallet, that Hector doesn't know where she is, blah, blah, blah but I shut her up.

"Firstly, calm down. Secondly, Hector knows where we are going. And thirdly, I am paying."
