~ Nicole ~
I was alone with Georgia in her office. You could just feel the tension from her wanting to ask me all about my little affair.
"Here's her schedule, she starts tomorrow with the shooting." She handed me a paper.
"Thanks."
"So, what was it like to sleep with the boss?" She asked me with a smirk.
"I'm not the one to kiss and tell, but damn she's a wild one."
"Daaamn, girl. You lucky. I told you she was into you." She was so happy to be right.
"Yes, you did." I remembered what I dreamt about right after our first night together. Guilt overwhelmed me in a moment.
"What's wrong? Aren't you happy?"
"Of course I am. I couldn't be happier." I didn't actually lie that much, I really did want Diane in every way possible. But I knew I had to get rid off Fiona. So I guess I'm gonna go to therapy. Again.
"If you say so. You don't have to lie to me." I could sense she was being honest.
"Can I trust you?"
"What did I just say?" This time she was a annoyed.
"Okay okay, sorry." I started my story. "You know I used to be in the army." She nodded. "Well, when I was in there I met my first girlfriend. Her name was Fiona. One day, we got into a huge fight just before she entered the plane to start a drill. She was a pilot. Every time she went for a drill in a plane, I was worried sick. But because we were in a fight, she didn't tell me not to worry before, and I didn't get to kiss her for good luck. And of course, she crashed." Sadness was all over my face.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry. I know it's hard, and what I'm about to say is a cliché, but I think Fiona would want you to be happy." Georgia was right. But I still couldn't get her out of my mind and it was bothering me. Diane doesn't deserve that. I need to get back to therapy.
"Thank you for listening." Just as I said it, Diane walked into the office.
"Am I interrupting something?" She asked with a hint of jealousy on her face.
"No, we were just talking about your schedule for the week, Miss Porter." I repplied.
"That's what I wanted to talk to you about Georgia. Could you please move my massage appointment for Wednesday instead of Tuesday?"
A massage? Hell no.
"Of course."
"Thank you, Georgia." She took a good look at me one more time before leaving the room. And just with that look, I was turned on. Damn that woman.
