I woke up next to Diane, getting ready for our usual day. Just as I jumped out of the shower, the familiar smile welcomed me in the bedroom.

"Morning, love." I told her.

"Oh, don't get me all turned on, I gotta go to the set." She whined while she got up to hug me.

"What? I didn't even do anything."

"I know, it's just when I hear the accent... especially the way you say that nickname."

"Oh, you mean when I say 'love'?" I teased her.

"Arrghh, shut up or I'll jump you right now."

"Why do you think I keep repeating it?" I smirked, but I knew we didn't have the time. She just smiled at my childish behavior and kissed me.

...

Diane was far in the shooting when my phone rang. It was Georgia.

"Yes, Georgia?"

"Hey, this woman keeps telling she knows you and she wants to see you. She just won't give up."

"What? I'm busy, I can't leave Diane."

"Wait a minute." I heard mumbling on the other side and then she got back again. "She says her name is Fiona."

No way.

I dropped the phone and froze in place at the name.

...

After we finally arrived to the office, I ran to see who it was. It couldn't be her, she was long gone. This is just a same name coincidence.

The person standing next to Georgia in my office was definitely someone I knew. And I knew her well. How could she be alive?

...

There was a lot of hugging and talking to make some sense into this situation, Fiona asked me a question.

"So, are you happy?"

"Honestly... yes. I can't say I've never been happier, it would be a lie. But Diane is everything I was looking for in a person."

"I'm so glad." She looked kind of sad.

"Hey, Fi..."

"Don't." She interrupted me. "It's okay. If you knew I was alive everything would've turned out differently." She took a pause. "I'm just glad you're happy, even if it is without me."

...

After a while, I decided to look for Diane. We also needed to talk. It was definitely going to be awkward.

I searched for her in her house. It was like she disappeared into thin air.

"Diane!?" Still no answer.

"Love?" As I got closer to one of the guest rooms, I could hear like someone was choking. I rushed into the room to a scene that left me more than speechless.

"FIONA? WHAT THE HELL?"

Fiona was holding a rope against Diane's neck and she was smothering her.

"Let her go!" Just as I said it, Diane's eyelids dropped and so did she. My heart shattered into milion pieces. I could feel my blood boiling. I ran towards Diane's limp body and held her close. My mentally sick ex got closer to my ear and whispered. "You are only mine."
