A/N:  i wish to thank everyone who has been patiently following my story and voting on it.  You have given me encouragement to keep this story going.  I wish you all the best.

Copter's POV

After P'Kim left for the beach shed with the food stuff and rice cooker, Bas and I munched on our sandwiches in silence.  After a few seconds Bas took two water bottles from the smaller cooler and handed one to me.  Damn, this kid must be the fastest eater in the world.  I was only halfway through my sandwich and he had already finished his.

I took the water bottle but set it aside because I have this quirk of eating all my food first before drinking anything.

"Do you know why P'Kim broke off with his first two ex-girl friends?"  Bas asked just right out of the blue.

I nearly choked on  my sandwich.  I quickly twisted off the lid of my water bottle and drank quickly from it.

"Why are we talking about that?"  I asked because I wasn't sure if I wanted to know.

"Well, it's because he has seemed to have earned the image of a playboy but actually he is not."

When I didn't say a word, he continued, "His first two girlfriends cheated on him.  He was much younger at that time and very vulnerable and it hurt him badly.  He lost faith in all girls and since then he has been dating only but not making anyone a serious girlfriend.  He is not a bad guy.  He tries his best not to hurt people's feelings because he is one person who gets easily hurt himself.  And he is a very loyal and caring friend to me and I bet that if he fell in love with anyone he would be a loyal and caring boyfriend as well."

I still didn't say a word after he finished his speech.  I finished the rest of my sandwich and started drinking from the water bottle.

"I am a very loyal and caring friend of his as well.  I promise to put a bullet hole in the head of anyone who breaks his heart," he said in a serious tone while looking intently at me.

Geez, this kid means business.

"Let's bring the rest of this stuff to the beach shed,"  I suggested to ease the air.

We both quickly gathered the remaining stuff.  Already I was feeling light hearted with Bas' candid revelations about P'Kim.  I felt guilty for being one of those who judged him harshly.

Kimmon's POV

The sharp cry from Bas made me swim as rapidly as I could to his and Copter's direction.  He was paddling dog style with one arm while supporting Copter with the other.

I quickly swam to the other side of Copter and helped Bas to bring him to the shore.  Thankfully we were not too far from shore.  I made him lie down and stretched the affected leg.  I then took the foot of the affected leg and pressed the toes toward him.  It was breaking my heart to see him wincing in pain.  I admired how he never made a moan but just suffered silently.

I didn't notice right away that P'Tae and Tee had been hovering with concerned faces while I was tending to Copter.  I observed that they were holding hands and when Tee noticed that I was looking at their intertwined hands, he quickly pulled his hand away from P'Tae's.  Seriously these two, I thought.

Finally the cramps left Copter's leg and I helped him to sit up.  I wanted to keep my arms around him but I was afraid that he might push me away.  I was about to hold my hand out to him so he could get up but I remembered that he resents being treated like he can't do things for himself so I refrained from doing so.

"We better head back to the cottage and get some sleep," said P'Tae.  "We have to head back early tomorrow because if we don't get on time for our next shoot our manager's gonna fire us all."

Everybody was in agreement so we all helped one another to clean up the shed and bring all the remaining stuff to the cottage.
