Copter's POV
Throughout the charity event my mind was not fully focused on what was going on. The voices of the two emcees were like foreign language in my brain. Should I be worried that P'Kim had exchanged numbers with this Nanon guy? They appeared to have been close friends in the past and had not seen each other for two or three years, so it was understandable that they had exchanged numbers.
My thoughts were interrupted by the emcees calling my name. The fan standing on the stage had dropped a donation in the box to get a hug from me. I walked towards him and obliged. He was a tall and big guy and I not only got a hug but he twirled me around the stage as well. The emcees exclaimed, "That doubles the amount that you have to drop into the box!" The audience roared in laughter and the fan fished out his wallet and handed the amount to me. "No, no, no!" exclaimed the emcees, "you have to drop that into this box!"
"No!" exclaimed the fan, "this is for Copter to spend the night with me!" Louder and longer laughter erupted from the audience. Of course the fan had been joking. He walked towards the staff holding the box and deposited his money into it.
One of the emcees announced that the charity foundation had not yet reached its goal of five hundred thousand bahts, so they had thought of an activity which they hoped would help the foundation to reach the goal quickly. Any fan in the audience could come up the stage, drop twelve thousand bahts into the foundation box that one of the staff was holding on stage then he/she can choose two actors in the line up to hug each other.
The audience screamed in approval. Several fans started to scramble up the stage but the emcees said, "Wait, wait, wait! Go back to your places, raise your hand and we will call you one by one to come up the stage, okay?" The fans obeyed and waited patiently for the emcee to choose them.
The first one to come up on the stage chose Bas and an actor standing beside him. The actor who was about our age was good looking but not as cute as Bas. Then another fan came up and chose P'Tae and P'Tee to hug. They seemed to have lots of fans in the audience because they were chosen several times to hug each other. P'Kim and I were chosen about as many times.
"Okay," said the emcee pointing to the audience, "that lady in the red blouse, you can come up on the stage now!"
The fan came up on the stage and chose Nanon and me to hug! Nanon was all smiles, his dimples appearing on his cheeks as he approached me and led me to the center of the stage right in front of the fan wearing the red blouse. We hugged and I could smell the scent of his perfume. It had a very pleasant smell. I was starting to pull away but he continued to hug me. Suddenly the audience started chanting, "Four dimples! Four dimples! Four dimples!"
The fans had named our duo "Four Dimples". A new ship had evolved out of this event! I happened to glance at P'Kim. He had a dark scowl on his face.
