__I've always headcanoned that they made Bucky and Steve's old apartment into a historical museum. Like the Anne Frank house, it has all their furniture and supposedly looks just like when they lived there. When Bucky was recovering, he would take the tour over and over to try and remember. Until one day he starts to point out all the inaccuracies. 'Hey, there was one bed, not two!' and 'actually, my coat was over there.' Steve eventually track him down because of a security tape in which he's in the Steve Rogers museum yelling that 'our couch wasn't actually that ugly dammit!'
