Sleeping with the enemy

The next morning I woke up and was surprised with Tobirama still in bed sound asleep . I carefully and quietly get out of the bed with out waking him up. I go to the kitchen and was greeted by hashirama who was speaking to the cooks. 

"y/n , how are you this morning ?" he smiled . He was the complete opposite of his brother , always so kind and joyful where did tobirama get his ignorance from ?

"good morning Hashirama . You're up early." i smiled placing an apron " would you like me to make you something as well ?"

" would you ?!" he was excited about your offer, which mad you happy. Tobirama always ate silently . Hashirama would give me real criticism.

"mhmm!" I smiled "im making some omeletes ,miso soup, steamed rice and veggies. and even a piece of salmon if you'd like. "

"I don't understand how Tobirama was blessed with you. he has no idea how lucky he is " he muttered taking a seat . 

I sat down and ate with Hashirama . He made me agree to cook him breakfast when ever i can in exchange for information on his brother.  I can see how madara became his friend so easily. The man could turn a cold heart warm. 

"Ok so for today's little hint about tobirama . " he sat in deep thought " what kind of information do you want.?"

"I dont know. Things he likes and dislikes.. anything to get him to hate me less. " i said 

"He doesnt hate you. He's a strong believer of the village as a whole to be a family. He's willing to work along side any uchiha happily as long as they see the village as a whole and not clans .. but Your clan would like to keep their Independence.  It makes Tobirama suspicious and worry about their motives. Just because the long history between the two. " he explained.

"Naturally." i responded 

"You can start there. " he said . " show Tobirama You see the two clans as a whole like you done last night. The look on his face when you told off madara and defended the senju and this village was a look of admiration. "

"Really?" i asked curiously. "I was only speaking the truth."

"the truth you spoke is the purpose of this village . what your brother and I wanted as children. Tobirama doesn't enjoy spilling blood anymore than I do . Even though he is rough around the edges he's a big teddy bear.  He's all about balance. "

"So act like you?" i laughed

"exactly." his face serious as ever. "He'll be more interested in what your doing than all that boring paper work and studies."

hmm. " thank you hashirama . till next time . " I grabbed Tobirama's tray and walked back in to the room. 

Still sound asleep I placed the tray beside him on my side of the bed and got dressed. I had a plan that he would like and one i would like also .  I left him a note on his tray.

 Tobirama -

 Due to all the hard work you do I didn't want to wake you.

here is your breakfast. I hope you enjoy. I'm going to be in town 

for most of the day. I will be fine. I'll be home to prepare dinner.

I smirked knowing the heart attack he's going to have when he reads this letter. I know the hell he planned on raising because he was not a man to sugar coat anything. which is his biggest flaw. but lets see how this goes
