It's been two years.

Two years since that night.

*Flashback*

"I... I love you with all my heart!... If you were to stay here with me, there would be no regrets... because every day we'd do something fun, we'd be happy I swear!... I would do anything for you! so... Please just stay with me! If you can't stay then take me with you!" Sakura yelled frantically.

"You really are annoying," Sasuke replied with a smirk. He turned to walk away when Sakura said,"Don't leave! If you do, I'll scream!"

There was a swishing noise and suddenly Sasuke was behind her.

"Sakura... Thank you." *thump*

He put her on the bench and started walking. Then suddenly, he stopped. He looked up at the tree where I was sitting.

"Aren't you going to try and stop me?" He asked.

"No," I answered.

"Why not? I thought you would be the one who'd try and stop me the most."

I hesitated, then answered,"I know that there's no point in trying to stop you. You've chosen your path and this is it. If Naruto and Sakura can't stop you, then I know I won't be able to. Besides, you never listen to me anyway."

"Hn," was his answer.

"Good luck Sasuke," I said.

"Hanako... I'm going to need your help in a few years. Will you come?" He asked.

"Of course," I said.

"Promise me," he said.

I jumped down from the tree where I was sitting and walked towards him until I was standing in front of him.

"I promise that I'll be there when it's time. I'll always be right here if you need me," I said. I handed him my necklace. It was something that my great-grandfather had given my great-grandmother. It had been passed down in the family and now it's mine. "Keep this until we meet again," I told him. He looked at me for a moment, then accepted it. I wrapped my arms around him in a hug. He hesitated, then hugged me back.

"Good luck," I said again.

"Thanks," he said softly.

I watched him walk away and said softly,"Until we meet again."

*End of Flashback*

I think about that night every day. There's not a moment that goes by that I don't think of it.

All I can do now is wait.
