Sasuke's pov
"Long time, no see, Sasuke."
My eyes widened in shock as a girl with long brown hair jumped down in front of me.
"Hanako..."
She smiled.
"Hey Sasuke, who's the hottie?" I heard Suigetsu say.
"Suigetsu, shut up!" Karin screamed.
I would've turned around to yell at both of them but I was still staring at Hanako.
She had gotten so much more beautiful...
Wait. What did I just say?
I shook my head, trying to clear it.
"Soooooo... Who are your teammates?" she asked.
"Hello there! My name's Suigetsu, sweetheart," Suigetsu said before I could say anything.
Hanako wrinkled her nose at the word sweetheart.
"I'm Hanako," she replied. "And don't call me sweetheart."
"Hmmmm. I like her already," Suigetsu said, grinning.
I turned around to look at him and the other two.
"You guys, go on."
"What?!"
"Sasuke! I don't trust her! You shouldn't stay here alone!" Karin shouted.
"I said go on. We'll be there shortly."
"I'm staying then," Karin said, pouting.
"Karin, you shouldn't be so jealous. You already knew you didn't have a chance with him and this just proves it," Suigetsu said.
Smack!
"Just shut up, Suigetsu! It's not like that!" Karin yelled.
"Both of you stop and go already! Do I really have to repeat myself this many times?"
They all turned to look at me for a moment, then finally left.
I heard some shuffling behind me.
I turned around to look back at Hanako.
She looked uncomfortable.
She saw me looking at her and smirked.
"Seems wherever you go, you'll always have fangirls."
"Yeah. I guess so."
Hanako's pov
I stepped closer to Sasuke and hugged him.
He hesitated, then hugged me back.
"I have your necklace still," he said, softly.
I hugged him a little tighter.
"Keep it."
"What?" He pulled away to look at me.
"Keep it."
He stared at me, disbelievingly.
"I'm being serious, Sasuke."
"Why?"
"When my brother died... he... he told me to give it to the person that meant the most to me. Th-that p-person is... you..." I said, feeling ridiculous.
Sasuke gave me a bewildered look.
I turned my head away, trying not to look at him.
He wrapped his arms around me.
"Hanako, to me, you're the most important person in the world."
I felt my heartbeat becoming faster at what he said.
I hugged him back, feeling elated.
We stayed like that for a little while.
Sasuke's pov
I could feel my cheeks heating up.
B-bmp-b-bmp-b-bmp-b-bmp
I pulled away a little to look at her face.
She was blushing.
I smirked.
I leaned in toward her face, closing my eyes.
