Chapter 6: Notes

There's gonna be a bit of a time skip in this chapter. Hope you guys don't mind too much.

Third pov

Sasuke looked at the ground, triumphant.

He was dead.

Sasuke had killed him.

Not that it was difficult. After all, Orochimaru had been weakened.

There were snake heads littering the ground, along with Orochimaru's true form.

Sasuke heard some shuffling to his left. He turned to look.

"Kabuto, huh?"

He began walking out of the room.

When Sasuke passed by him, Kabuto could feel the danger and tension in the air, but he still couldn't tell which one of them it was.

Sasuke was already walking further away from him, when he finally asked, "Which one are you?"

Sasuke stopped, then turned to look back at him. He was smirking.

"Which one do you think?"

Hanako's pov

"Hello Hanako!"

"Hi Izumo," I replied, dully.

"How are you doing?" he asked.

"I'm fine. How are you?"

"I'm doing great. Thanks for asking," he said, grinning.

"Mm."

"Izumo! Who are you talking to-oh! Hi Hanako!" Kotetsu looked at me with a smile on his face.

"Hi," was my simple reply.

"Well we have to go Hanako," Izumo groaned. "Tsunade-sama needs us to carry more papers for her."

"Yeah," Kotetsu continued for him. "See you."

"Bye," I replied.

I made my way back to my apartment.

I unlocked my front door and went inside.

Hiss.

I looked around.

What was that sound?

Hiss.

This time I looked at the ground.

"Eeeek!!! A snake!"

I started jumping up and down, screaming.

It crawled closer to me.

"Eeeeewwwww!!! No! Don't crawl toward me!!! Go away! Ewwww!"

It kept crawling closer.

When it was next to me, I saw a note on its back.

I reached down and grabbed it.

It said:

"Hanako,

If you're truly wishing to join me then meet me in the forest just outside of the Grass Village."

My jaw dropped.

This couldn't be from him, could it?

Sasuke's pov

"Aren't you guys tired?" Suigetsu complained.

"Shut up! You're so annoying, Suigetsu!" Karin yelled.

I sighed.

"Karin, Suigetsu, both of you stop," I said to them.

"Hmph."

"By the way Sasuke, where are we going?" Karin asked.

"Yeah. I'd like to know too," Suigetsu said. "Besides you said that we were going to the Lightning Country but we're going the opposite way."

"We're going to the Hidden Grass Village."

"Eh? Why?" Suigetsu asked, confused.

"There's something I have to do."
