I was a little worried at how Edward would react to the news of my pregnancy, but I knew I'd just have to deal with it. He'd find out sooner or later.

Edward.

Matilda.

What is it?

I did a thing.

Is it a bad thing?

Not exactly.

Holy shit

Considering that Edward never swore, it was obvious that he was shocked by my news, albeit good news.

I am so pleased for you. For Josh.

Really?

Yes. My little sister becoming a Mother. I'm extremely pleased.

Thank you, Edward. It means a lot.

Enjoy the honeymoon ;)

Oh, we will.

Oh, and tell Josh. It might be better if he waits for a public announcement of the marriage before he posts it on Instagram. We only just avoided a PR nightmare.

Oops. But you can't blame him. Wanting to show off his marriage.

Was that meant to be reassuring?

A little.

Well, it didn't do a very good job.

Lighten up, Edward.

Will do, once I've finished running the country.

The cottage was in a secluded part of the country, surrounded by forests and hills. It was beautiful. There was a village nearby — though I doubted we'd be leaving very often. Josh barely let me out of his sight without attacking me with soft kisses. Unsurprisingly, it was Josh who Instagram-ed the shit out of our honeymoon. I posted some things but he went full on out, posting the cutest photos, albeit breaking the protocol we were supposed to be adhering to. We went boating one day on the lake in front of the cottage and Josh, of course, posted it.
