"You need to stop flaunting me on social media, Josh." I spoke, getting changed. "It looks.. odd."
"Odd?" He chuckled, clearly not believing me.
"Yes! The press will be all over it." I responded, putting on my pyjama top and shorts. Lily had been quite adamant that I shouldn't have them on my wedding night but I disagreed. I wasn't just going to sit about in that dress and I wasn't going to sit naked. After all, the curtains were open.
"You're my wife. I'm allowed to have some showing off and anyway, your family liked it."
"No, the controller of the social media account liked it." I corrected. "It's probably someone who doesn't quite realise that they're igniting a PR nightmare."
"Worth it." He grinned. I sat down on the bed next to him, fiddling with the television remote. Before I could switch the channel over, Josh took the remote and placed it on the bedside table to his right, quite a bit away from me.
"I was using that." I spoke. He shook his head, frowning.
"I think you have more important things to do." Josh grinned, brushing his lip against mine as if to indicate his intention. "It is our wedding night."
"Hmm.." I trailed off, kissing him lightly. "I guess it is."
We went to sleep not long after. We were both utterly exhausted by the day and Josh, as I'd predicted, was asleep by eleven. The lad could barely stay awake past midnight if he wasn't full of alcohol. I thought of the pregnancy test Lily had bought and thought, well, what better time than now to test it?
