Rose's POV
"I can't believe I'm saying this to you but, thank's for saving my life." I said.
"What about biting me?"
"Nope."
"Damn you, and you're welcome, Rose?"
Yup that's the name don't wear it out. You're name's R- Roxy, right?'
"That's right Rosey Frozey."
"Dont call me that! And tell me your ass wasn't freezing."
All right! I was cold, but I NEVER get cold."
Ok so it wasn't my falt that I passed out. That was good. I looked outside. It was a full on blizzard. We were going to be here for a while. I decided to bring up the whole fire-water thing.
"So you can control fire, huh."I said.
"You got that right. You control water?"
"Ya, and I will kick your ass if you tell anyone. I think, that all of this ( I gestured to the blizzard,) has to do with the whole water-fire-ice shit."
"I hate to say this, but I think your right."
" Thanks I'll remember that you said that."
If looks could kill, I would be dead right now.
"Ok." I said. So if water puts out fire, and fire melts ice, and ice freezes water, how did you hold your breath that long?"
"I think, that since water evaporates when it gets hot, I sorta have a layer of air around me. I'm gussing you can hold your damn breath forever?"
"Yup." But if water puts you out"-"I DON'T FREAKING KNOW HOW IT WORKS ALL RIGHT! ALL I KNOW IS I SAVED YOUR SORRY LITTLE ASS FROM DYING AND NOTHING WAS NORMAL ABOUT THAT ICE! I ALMOST PASSED OUT SAVING YOU! WE COULD HAVE BOTH DIED BECAUSE MY STUPID LITTLE CHALLENGE!"
She then burst out crying. I didn't know what to do or say. As much as I wanted to be angry with her, I couldn't. All I could do is think that if I was in her place I probly would have done the same exact thing. Now that I think about it, she could have just left me to die. But she didn't. I decided to tell her what I honestly thought about this.
" It's not your falt this happend. It's fucking May, there shouldn't be any snow, so definitly not any blizzards. I'm really sorry about your friend. But don't you dare blame me for this ice and snow. Ice freezes me so I guess its the same as water is for you. If it helps you feel any better, I've never had one friend in my life. All the happy go lucky people from Rxdal look at me like I'm a piece of shit. I've always wanted to be part of Ezichi and be a person who doesn't give a damn if something is right or wrong. Plus, I'm almost sixteen. I'm so sick of people looking twice at me."
She looked up at me and stoped crying.
"I'm so sorry. For everything. I totally misjuded you. Well, almost totally." she said.
"Gee thanks. I said sarcasticly. Friends?"
"Friends." She agreed.
