Rose's POV
I remember that last night we decided, or should I say, we had to stay the night in this cave. At least it was warm and dry. My parent were going to kill me. Hopefully they will under stand that there was a blizzard. I barely opened my eyes to see if it was still snowing. Shit, it was. IT'S MAY AND IT'S STILL SNOWING! I thought.
My parents were going to kill me. No, they wouldn't be like, " Oh my goodness thank god your safe", or "Where were you?" No. They would ground me for not being home by eight o'clock. I decided it was probably time for me to get up, because it was kind of light outside and I saw my first friend ever start opening her eyes.
"WHAT THE HELL!" we both said at the same time. It looked like Roxy was turning red. She had red highlights in her blonde hair, her eyes were violet, and, No. Way. She had red finger nail polish on. I think she noticed her nails the same time I did because she said,
"OH FUCKING GOD! GET THIS THE HELL OFF ME!"
"I don't think it's just you Roxy. Look at me and tell me what I look like."
"Well, your hair has blue streaks in it, your eyes are hazel, and I think you all ready know your nails are blue. What the hell do I look like?"
"The same exact same thing except your turnig red. Your eyes are sort of purple."
Roxy grabbed my leg and pulled my shoe off.
"Holy crap your warm!" I said
"Look at your toes! They're blue!"
She was right, they were blue.
"Oh My God! Today's my sixteenth birthday!" I remembered
"What the hell, it's mine too!"
"I think some bad shit is going to happen to us."
"What do you mean?"
" I just remembered reading somewhere about every two thousand years two people are born with the elements."
"And..."
"Shut up I'm trying to remember... Oh shit! Once they reach sixteen they start turning into their element!"
"Oh. So you mean that from now on WE'RE GONNA FUCKING TURN INTO FIRE AND WATER!"
"SHUT UP AND CHILL! I WASN'T DONE YET! The Dragon of Ice's scale is an antidote. Wait a minute! That's got to be where this snow came from! He probably wanted us dead so we couldn't ever find him so he tried to kill us!"
"Ok, so before I start to scream my god damn head off, is there anything else?"
That's when all the snow stoped and melted. And then Roxy's hair all turned red.
