Gunfighter's POV:

The next morning wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Qrow got up As I went back downstairs to get something to eat that wasn't jerky or a cigar. I sat at the table near the entrance with my bad facing towards it waiting for someone to come by. "What can I get you sir?" I looked over to my right to see a young woman smiling at me with a small notepad in her hand. "I'll have coffee, Black. Along with some hash browns and bacon miss." She wrote it down and then asked, "Will that be all?" I looked over her to hear Qrow coming down the stairs judging by the sound of a metallic container hitting the floor. "Better make it two black coffees." She wrote it down then walked back to the inn's kitchen with the same smile on her face. I sat back and waited while Qrow stumbled down the stairs looking for something, probably me. "Mind if I join you?" He asked sitting down. I didn't reply to him, but rather to the young woman before as she came back out with our coffees. "Here you are sir." "Thank you." I responded taking the two mugs. I handed Qrow one as I started to drink out of the other. "Not much of a talker in the morning huh?" I took a nice slow drink letting the hot liquid touch my tongue, taking in the flavor. I set the mug down and replied, "Not really. Then again I usually don't travel much with anyone." He chuckled before drink the mug and nearly spitting it back out at me when he realized it's still hot. I put my hand over his mouth and told him to swallow before taking it off his face and wiping it on his sleeve. "What was that for!?" I looked at him and replied with annoyance in my voice, "I don't like morons spitting their drink all over me. Next time check if it's boiling hot." I took my mug in hand and was about to take another drink till I heard several footsteps on top of the stairs coming down. I looked over once more to see Ruby and her team coming down stairs looking a little disheveled. The white haired girl who I assume is a Schnee blurted out, "This is so unprofessional." The blonde girl responded, "Well maybe you should call one of your butlers to come bring you another pair of clothes princess." The black haired girl with the bow didn't say anything, but walked behind them shaking her head. Ruby came up to my table and hugged Qrow before looking at me and saying, "Thanks again mister!" "Yeah thank you!" The blonde said as well. I nodded and replied, "You're welcome Red." I looked over at the blonde girl and said, You're welcome as well miss." The Schnee asked right after I finished, "Why would Ozpin send a outlaw to save us? I mean is he really getting desperate?" I notice Ruby giving her a disappointed look before apologizing to me and sat over at their table. I finished my coffee and moved the mug out of the way as the young girl came out with my breakfast. "Here you are sir. Will there be anything else?" I looked over at the girls next to my table and said, "I'm fine, but I'll be paying for their meals as well." She nodded and went over to take their order. I started to eat while Qrow looked at me and asked, "Paying for me as well?" I took a bite and set the fork down before responding. "After your sarcastic remarks and making this job harder than it needed to be. No." I went back to eating while he looked at me in disbelief to which I paid him no mind. Ruby and her team gave their orders and waited while I sat back and started to contemplate our next move. This didn't go unnoticed by Qrow and the black haired girl. She didn't waste any time when asking me about the bodies back in the village we passed. I simply told her they weren't looking for people to capture so I defended myself. She glared at me before looking at the woman coming out with their meals. After they finished I paid for all of it and went back outside to JC and untied him. We all started to walk towards Beacon when the Schnee asked, "Where's our horses?" I wanted to get on JC and ride away, but Ozpin would be rather pissy if I did that so I answered, "You want to take care of it for the rest of your life?" She make a snarky response saying she'd never raise a filthy animal like that by herself so I simply replied, "Then quit your complaining princess." She stayed quiet for the rest of the trip except the blonde and Ruby. As we walked through the woods the blonde girl asked me how I know Ruby, her sister. "I was coming through town at night when I came across Torchwick and her fighting in the street." "Oh really? Why didn't you get Torchwick then?" I looked down at her smirking before I responded, "You try looking into an explosion caused by dust. Besides, he had a escape plan from the start that I wasn't prepared for . Who ever helped him didn't fly away without a scratch though." She gave me a curious look before asking, "What makes you say that?" I simply smirked and put a cigar in my mouth before replying. "Some people can curve a bullet, some can shoot at impressive distances, but I can bounce one around a sharp corner. Who ever it was lobbying fireballs at her and the blonde teacher isn't looking the same, that's for certain." She smiled at what I told her and fell back towards her uncle while I stayed ahead while Ruby came up to me.
