Nothing to do today. Everyone's busy. Darry, Steve, and Soda are at work. Dally who knows were he is. Pony he's has to do homework. And Two-Bit is somewhere getting drunk. And I have no idea where Johnny is.
So what shall I do today? Movie? Don't have money. Read? Nope read all the books I have. I could go to the library but I'm just so lazy. I went back to my place. Buck was inside drinking.
"Hey Bucky." I said closing the door.
"Hey Trouble Maker. What's up."
"There's nothing to do."
"Well I'm having a party later wanna come?"
"No thank you. You know Dally doesn't let me go to your parties."
"I know. But come on. Your supposed to be Trouble Maker like Dally. Not be afraid of the cops. Your supposed to be young wild and free."
"No that's dally. Come on Buck I don't wanna be like Dally. And Dally doesn't want me to be like him."
"Ok. Well go to the library."
"Fine."
Since I have nothing else to do. I'll go to the library. Great. You know sometimes I wish Pony didn't have track. So we could finish our homework together. But no. As I was walking to the library I saw Johnny. He was sitting down just looking at his surroundings.
Don't go over there Hannah. Don't go over there. As stubborn as I am I didn't listen to myself I went over there. I have no idea what I'm getting myself into. I pretend to act like he wasn't there.
"Oh uh hi Johnnycakes I didn't see you there." I said
Really? That's the best I could do. I'm so pathetic.
"Hey Little Bells. What are you doing?"
"I was on my way over here when I saw you."
"Oh."
"Yea do you mind if I join you?"
"No not at all. Come sit down."
I took a seat next to Johnny. Looking at the clouds. The clouds remind me of Pony when we were younger.
"So Hannah how's it going with you and Pony?" Johnny asked
"It's going good. How about you and Jessie?"
"Never better."
We both looked into each other's eyes. I found myself scooting closer and closer to Johnny. Johnny had the most amazing brown eyes ever. Johnny would look down at my lips. He started leaning in. So was I but then I thought of Pony. I pulled away quickly.
"So Johnny how's life?" I said before he could kiss me
"I'm sorry." He said
"Sorry for what? Nothing happened." I said quickly
"Hannah I was about to kiss. And you know that."
"I don't know anything."
"Hannah? Can I tell you something?"
"I don't know... It depends. You know let's change the subject. What do we talk about puppies, switchblade, the gang, food, life? I like puppies you like puppies. Uh the only thing I hate in this world is cats. Like they are so weird. They are lazy. They scratch you it leaves a scar. Have you...." I got cut of with Johnny smashing his lips on mine.
I didn't kiss him back at first. But this might be he only time I'll be able to kiss Johnny so I kissed him back. I never it was wrong. He was going slow. Johnny put his hand on my check and started rubbing it with his thumb. It put my arms around his neck.
I wanted more. He pulled me into his lap. His hand was under my thigh. He licked the bottom of my lips. I let him in. After about a ten minute oh the make out session I pulled away. Don't worry while we were making out I pulled away for away but then kissed him again. Both of us were breathing heavily. But once I realized what I did I got off of Johnny. I looked at him.
"I-I gotta go." I started to get up but Johnny stopped me.
"Hannah I'm sorry. I could help myself. I really like you. The only reason I'm with Jessie so I can get over you. But I'm finding it hard. I can't help myself from looking at you. You laugh is so magical. You eyes make me forget all he troubles I have. When someone make you laugh it's like an angel laughing. I love how if someone gets you mad your not afraid to take it out on them. Your strong but also fragile. I need you in my life. I don't see how I never noticed your beauty. There is no way I can explain how much I like you. Please will you go out with?" Johnny said
"J-Johnny. I can't I'm with Pony and your with Jessie."
"I'll break up with her. Just for you. I would do anything just to make you mine."
"I'm sorry Johnny. But I love Pony. Don't get me wrong I like you to a lot. But I don't want to break his heart. Promise me you won't tell anyone about this. No one. Please." I started crying
He sighed "I guess so. But what to I do next I see you."
"Just pretend this never happened." I said
"I'll try to but it'll be hard."
"Thank you." I started walking away.
But again Johnny stopped me. "Can I have one more kiss before we pretend this never happened?"
I nodded my head. I leaned in, his lips were so soft. After 10 seconds I pulled away. I put my forehead on his. "Please forget this ever happened." I said
"Anything for you little bells."
I walked away. I started walking towards the library. Before I went home I grabbed two books. As I was walking home I went past the lot. Johnny was still there. This time smoking a weed. I ran the rest of he way home. Once I got there it was 7:00 p.m. Bucks party had started. I knocked on the door and of course Buck opened it.
"Hey Trouble Maker." He said
"H-Hey Bucky." I said
"Come on I'll take you to your room."
"Thanks."
I went inside and Buck took me to my room. When I got inside Dally was inside.
"Hey Hannah. Where've you been?" Dally asked
"Nowhere why?" I asked quickly
"I was just asking."
"We'll there you got your answer. Just stay out if my business."
"Hannah you ok? You look alittle pale."
"I'm fine. I just need some sleep."
"Ok? Your acting a little weird."
"DALLY I JUST NEED SOME DAMN SLEEP!!"
He shut up. After that.
