Chapter 22

When I got home there was a party. I tried to find Dally but I couldn't. Then when I found Buck. He was drinking some beer. I tugged oh his jacket. He turned around and looked at me. I was still wearing Johnny's sweeter. Shoot I forgot to give it to him.

"Hey Trouble Maker where you been?" He asked

I could hardly hear him over the music. "I went to the drive in movies with Dally, Ponyboy and Johnny. But Dally left and I went to the lot with Pony and Johnny. And here I am. Where's Dally?"

"He upstairs."

"Can you take me there. I'm scared to go up there by myself. You never know what these people could do to me."

"Sure Kiddio."

Buck put his hand on my back and took me to my room. A lot of older guys looked at me. Buck told them to back off. We went upstairs. Every now and then Buck would take a sip of his beer. When we reached my room I gave Buck a hug.

"Thanks Bucky."

"What's up with you giving people nicknames that end with Y."

"I don't know."

"We'll I'm going back to the party. See you tomorrow."

"Night."

I walked into the room. And he was making out with a girl. Never in my life have I seen this girl. Dally was good at getting girls fast. I stood there for a while. I crossed my arms. Then I closed the door with my foot. They both looked up. I just looked at Dally. I gave him a dead serious face. Then I looked at the girl she smiled at me. She had brown hair and green eyes. And she was really tight and short clothes on her.

"Um Dally who is she?" The girl asked.

"This is my little sister. Hannah." Dally said "Hannah is is Vivian."

"Hi nice to meet you." She Put her hand out.

I ignored it. Then she walked out if the room. Dally smiled to him self then looked at me. I still had a serious face on. His smile went into a frown.

"Um hi Hannah." He said

"Really Dal that's all you have to say. You just met this girl and you didn't even tell her you had a sister?"

"We'll I just used her for making out."

"Dally think of this. Would you like if a guy just used me for making out?"

"No I would kill him."

"So how do think these girls feel like?"

"Sorry Hannah."

"Whatever."

"We'll. Where have you been? I've been worried sick?"

"I was at the lot with Ponyboy and Johnny."

He looked at me and smiled. By it was a 'What did you do?' Look.

"Why are you wearing Johnny's jacket?"

"He gave it to me because I'm cold."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes why.... Oh my gosh. Dallas I would never do that. I'm not even old enough."

"I didn't say anything." He put his hands up in surrender

"But you were thinking it." I said pointing at him

"Ok whatever keeps you sleeping at night."

I put on my PJ's. Which was a tank top and short shorts. (not that short that you can see her butt.) then I tried to go to sleep. But there was to much noise down stairs. I turned so I could face Dally. I smiled at him. He kissed my forehead. We started talking about different stuff.

"Hannah who are you dating Ponyboy or Johnny?"

"Ponyboy."

"Then why were you and Johnny acting like a couple?"

"Because when I got out of the girls home and went to see you guys Ponyboy started talking about Cherry. And I got super jealous. So I wanted to get him back. Johnny and I started flirting to get Ponyboy jealous."

"We'll Bells you know you could have asked me I could have beaten up Ponyboy."

"No thank you Dally. I wanted hurt Ponyboy. But I didn't want him dead. Who know what you could have done to you. Oh and Tim Shepard asked for you."

"I knew he would come looking for me."

"What did you do?"

"I slashed his tires."

It was dark in our room. Both of us were looking at the ceiling. Then Buck came into our room. He said that people were looking for him. Dally put in his jeans and went down stairs. Great leave me up here. I turned over to my side and looked at the wall. My eye lids started closing when Dally turned on the lights. I saw Johnny and Ponyboy with him. I got up.

"Ponyboy? Johnny what are you doing here? And Ponyboy are you wet?" I asked

"Yeah." Ponyboy said. I could tell Ponyboy was close to tears.

Dally grabbed one of Bucks shirts and gave it to Ponyboy. I watched as he took of his shirt. I guess I was staring cause Dally threw Pony's wet shirt on my head.

"Stop staring and hang up Pony's shirt will ya?"

"Ok."

I walked out of the room. Then went to go put it on a drying thing. I couldn't find it so I went and found Buck. He was talking to some of his friends. Again Buck looked at me weird.

"What?"

"Uh your hardly wearing clothes. All your wearing is a tank top and short shorts."

I looked down. "Oh shoot Dally's going to kill me. I'm not supposed to be here but I couldn't find the drying thing."

"Follow me."

Buck held on to me close. In some ways he reminded me of Dally. When we got there I just put it up and Buck took me to my room. When I got to the stairs I saw that Johnny and Ponyboy were leaving.

"Your leaving?" I asked

"Yea we got to go." Pony said

"Ok we'll bye."

I gave Johnny a kiss on the cheek. Then Pony looked at me. I gave him an extra long kiss. Then Dally pulled me away from him. He just looked at me the whole way he went down stair. Then when he got to the ground he stood there. Johnny pushed him. Oh my gosh Johnny's jacket. I went in my room and tried to look for it. I practically turned this room upside down until I saw a jean jacket I grabbed it and ran downstairs. Ponyboy and Johnny were close out the door when I yelled Johnny's name.

"JOHNNY!!!!" I yelled

He turned around. "Oh hey Little bells what do you need?"

"Here's you jean jacket."

"Thanks." He hugged me I hugged back

I gave Ponyboy one last kiss. Then they left. I closed the door and ran to my room. Trying not to cause attention. When I got up there Dally looked at me. Shoot I was in trouble.

"Hey Dal" I asked

"Hannha how many times have I told you to not go out in the party wearing that."

"I'm sorry Dally. And how many times have I told you when you meet a girl tell her I'm your sister. How many time how I told you never to go down there with out a shirt. How many times have I told you don't make out with a girl on our bed. How...." Dally covered my mouth.

"And how many times have I told you never to tell me what to do." He let go of my mouth.

"The reason you aren't in jail right now is because I told you what to do." I said

"Whatever. Try to get some sleep." Dally said getting into bed.

"Dally why did Ponyboy and Johnny come?"

"They just had something to tell me. That's all. Don't worry about it."

"Ok."

Dally turned of the light. I could help but think that there was something that Dally wasn't telling me.
