Dallas Winston Little Sister // Ponyboy & Johnny

Chapter 9

"GET OUT." I yelled at them.

"Gosh Hannah don't need to be so rude. But i'll get you back for that." Steve said

"Oh yea how?" I asked crossing my arm.

"Like this."

Steve put me over his shoulder and started running around the house. I was kicking and screaming. But no one was helping me. Then the most scariest thing happened. He stood up on a chair. And my stomach was on his shoulder. I was hoping he won't do a back flip. Instead he jumped off and went outside. He almost fell off the steps.

"Hey Steve be careful with my little sister" Dally said

"Don't worry I will."

He got on top of the car and put me down. When I was about to get down. Steve grabbed my wrist. He told me the only way that I could get off the car hood was to do a back flip. I've done back flips before but never this high. I was super scared.

"Come on Stevey. Don't make me do this." I said

"I told you I would get you back. Now do it."

"Fine."

I took a deep breath. Turned my back from where I was going to land. Then jumped and did a back flip. Lucky I didn't hit my head on anything. I landed on my feet. Everyone clapped. That was the most fun thing ever.

"See that wasn't so bad." Steve said

"I guess so. Now can I go inside?"

"Sure. But let me carry you inside."

"No. No. No."

It was to late. Steve put me on his shoulder and took me inside. When we got inside he put me down.

"Hannah we need to get home."

"Ok. Bye Pony." I said giving him a kiss

"Bye. See you tomorrow."

When we got home like always Dally held on to me. So no one could get me. I got changed into a tank top and shorts. Then I went to bed. I was out like a light when my head hit the pillow. When I woke up Dally was in his underwear. That was a terrible sight.

"Dally what are you doing?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"What does it look like i'm doing?" he asked

"Making Pancakes?" I said sarcastically

"I'm changing stupid."

"Hey you can't call me stupid. It's my birthday." I said crossing my arms.

"Oh yea it's your birthday. You know what that means."

"On no." I said closing my eyes,

"IT'S HANNAH BELLS BIRTHDAY!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR HANNAH. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU." Dally sang in a dying cat voice

"Did you have to do that?"

"Yes. Now get dressed were going over to the Curtis house."

I got dressed. I put on a black t-shirt and a jean jacket. Also I put on jeans. Dally and I walked downstairs. No one was there. Thank God. We got into his car and drove off. When we got to the Curtis house everyone was outside already. Two-Bit picked me up and hugged me.

"Let.....go.....Me.....getting...light...headed...." I said running out of breath

"Hey Two-Bit be careful. Her arm still hurt from when the Soc's jumped her." Dally said lighting up a cancer stick.

"Sorry Hannah." Two-Bit said

Then the rest of the guys gave me a hug. When I came to Johnny he was quiet.

"Hey Johnny." I said

"Hey Hannah."

"How come you never talk to me anymore?" I asked

"I don't know."

"Well can I get a hug?"

"Ok." he said giving me a hug.

Johnny was taller than me about 3 inches. I was kinda short for my age. Then I got to Ponyboy. I smiled at him. Before he could do anything I kissed him. When I pulled away I gave him a hug.

"Get a room." Soda said

"Shut up." Dally said to Soda.

"We all got you something Hannah." Darry said taking out a gift from behind him

"You guys didn't have to."

I opened the gift and I couldn't believe what it was. My mouth hung open. It was a leather jacket. Just like Dally's.

"You like it?" They all asked

"No. I like Ponyboy. I love this jacket. Thank you guys," I said hugging them all. 

"Hey..." Pony  said

"I was kidding."

"Try it on." Soda said

I put on the jacket and stood by Dally.

"Sister like brother." Johnny said

"Yea but i'm better." I said

"You watch you mouth young lady." Dally said

"Why don't we go inside for some cake." Darry said

"I'll race ya'll" I said running to the door.

Everyone was behind me. But when I was at the door someone picked me up. It was Two-Bit. What's what with everyone picking me up these days. Darry took out a chocolate cake. One piece was missing.

"Ok who ate a piece of cake?" Darry asked

Everyone looked at Two-Bit. "It wasn't me." he said

"I know who it is." I said

"Who?" they all asked

"It was Steve. I can tell because he still has some chocolate cake on his shirt and right by his lip." I said wiping the chocolate cake on his lip

"That's it Steve you're not having any cake." Dally said

Darry cut the cake and gave the biggest one to me. Then cut smaller ones for everyone else.

"Why does she get the big piece?" Two-Bit wined.

"Because she's the birthday girl." Darry said

"That's not fair." Soda said

"Hey if you guys keep wining then you won't get any cake at all."

"Fine." they said

"I never get the big piece." Soda mumbled

I laughed on the inside. And smiled on the outside.
