The light burns

"Why did you leave so early at that party?" Guanlin said as he stated his presence. I rolled my eyes and grinned. "And why are you at my house?" I turned around to see Guanlin laying on my bed with his arms under his head facing the window he came through. He shrugged. "My house is too loud and rowdy." Guanlin said with a yawn. I heard Seungkwan and Mingyu arguing outside my room with Woozi blasting his music and playing with his piano. I also heard Joshua strumming his guitar loudly while Dino and Wonwoo were yelling at a video game. I chuckled,"And you think my house isn't loud? You're funny." I turned around in my chair to face my textbook. I flipped the page and started making notes,"Yuna! We have a guest!" I groaned and rolled my eyes. I looked over to Guanlin who quickly got on his feet,"I should go. I have extra classes." He positioned himself on the window sill. I smiled softly and waved my hand,"Okay then. I'll see you tomorrow at school?" I asked while getting up from my seat. He returned the smile,"Yeah sure." He jumped out of the window and transformed into a bat. I sighed happily. "How's your boyfriend?" I looked around quickly to see Joshua and Vernon standing near my bed. "He's not my boyfriend. He's my friend." I went over to the door,"So who's the guest?" I asked placing my hand on the handle. No one answered. Joshua looked away while Vernon bowed his head. "Joshua? Vernon?" I questioned but no one answered. I was confused but then I thought. "Is it a surprise?" I raised one eyebrow. No answers. I quickly opened the door and rushed downstairs through the hallway. I went over to the dining room and there he was. Anger rushed through my veins knowing he is in my house. "Yuna sit down." My mother said sternly. My biological father was sitting between Mother and Seungcheol. I clenched my jaw and sat down next to Dino. "You've grown a lot daughter." He said with a cocky voice. I snapped my head,"Yeah maybe I've grown a lot since you never even visit until now." I hissed loudly making the aura tense. Mother looked at me in the eyes flashing her red eyes ordering me to obey,"Ara. Behave at the dinner table." I slammed my hands on the table,"I'll be glad to misbehave some where else then." I got up from my chair and left the dining table. I heard my mom calling my name from behind me but I didn't bother looking back. My tears welled up in my eyes as I grabbed my coat and walked out of the door. The cold breeze went through my jacket as I breathed out slowly. "Calm down Yuna. You're okay." I whispered to myself as I stood at the entrance of the house. I walked and took a light jump to the air and I was already 15 feet up in the sky flying through the dark starry night. I flew with speed. I was probably going 100 miles per hour but I didn't know where I was going. The wind stinger my eyes and my tears fell one by one. I couldn't feel the tears stream down my cheeks as the wind took them away. My life was going downhill. I hated to sound like a dramatic pageant princess but I felt as if I hit rock bottom. My ex boyfriend has been using me for God knows how many years, this girl that my brother dated called me unworthy of being a princess, my dad wanted no part of my life before and now he's on his knees and I'm still ugly. I slowed down and looked down at what was below of me. It was a huge lake with a huge dock. I accelerated down to the dock and landed softly. I hanged my feet off of the dock but my feet didn't touch the water. I stared into the moon reflecting off of the water. My tears fell silently and slowly. "I would end it right now but I'm immortal." I whispered to myself. I wish I wasn't a vampire. I wish I wasn't a princess. I wish I had a normal family. I wish I had a perfect boyfriend. I wish I was just normal. At this point I was already sobbing my eyes out. I hugged my coat as it got colder. My cheeks stinger more as each tear fell. I sobbed loudly as if no one was watching. I hiccuped from my tears. The quiet wind sounded peaceful with a contrast of the water gentle waves. I wiped my tears and sniffled. I stared at the water and sighed. I swung my feet back and front as I took in my surroundings. I never realized how beautiful the lake looked at night. It's been a while since I went took a breather by myself away from reality. I always wanted to run away. Running away with my dreams. No one can bother to stop me. Unfortunately I am the princess and I am forbidden to run away. I clenched my fist and bit my tongue. I don't wanna be here anymore. I looked up at the bright moon glowing amongst the dark sky. The moon stands out so much. How can it handle the pressure? How can it handle the pressure of having to light up every night? Throughout the whole night I envied the moon.
