No one's POV
Yuna was sleeping heavily in class while Guanlin and Daewhi watched her pathetically while shaking their heads. The teacher walked in with a new student behind him. Whispers grew all over the classroom. "Class we have a new student. This is Samuel." The teacher said as everyone looked at him head to toe. "Hello I'm Samuel. You can call me Sam or Samuel. Let's be friends." He said with his slightly deep voice. "Great. Now go sit next to the empty seat in the back." The teacher said he pointed. Samuel made his way to his seat which was right behind Yuna.
Yuna POV
The bright light in the classroom disturbed my sleep. Class already started and the teacher was teaching. I groaned from my nap and stretched my back. I stretched my arms behind me. I stretched my arms toward the back of the class. I stretched my head to face behind me. I opened my eyes and saw an upside down boy. Why is he upside down? Am I still dreaming? He gave me a soft smile and I quickly sat up straight. I turned around to see him up right instead of upside down. "Nice nap?" He asked. I got flustered by the thought I was stretching all up in his personal space. I thought there was no one behind me. I cleared my thought and fixed my hair,"Uh sorry I didn't know you were there. I'm Yuna." I reached out my hand and he took it,"I'm Samuel." His brown eyed and light black hair made me star struck. "Yuna! You can get his phone number later! Pay attention and turn around!" The teacher said with his hand on his hips. The whole class was laughing while Guanlin rolled his eyes playfully. I rolled my eyes embarrassingly. Throughout the whole class I "listened" to everything. Lunch came and I cleaned up my books putting them into my desk. I grabbed my phone and looked over to Guanlin and Daewhi who was waiting near the doorway for me. I got up and looked over to Samuel who was sitting there uncomfortably,"It's lunch time. You should go to the cafeteria." I said while placing my hand on his desk. "Oh. I could just eat here. I don't really know anyone." He said while looking at his hands. I smiled and grabbed his hand,"Wow so uncool. You should eat with us. We might have extra seats." I took him over to Guanlin and Daewhi,"He's coming with us okay?" I asked more as a command not a question. We walked to the cafeteria with all four of us linking arms. Well mainly just me with Guanlin and Samuel. Sorry Daewhi. I looked at the table where all the boys are to see there was only three seats available. Just for me, Daewhi and Guanlin. "Uh. It's okay. I'll just sit somewhere else." Samuel said as he turned away. I grabbed his hand,"This place is packed. There's barely anywhere to sit." I looked around to look for empty seats. I saw my brothers' table. I took Samuel over there and sat down with him. "Hey. Who's the new kid?" Minghao asked while laying back on his chair. "His name is Samuel for your information. He's in my class." I replied while rolling my eyes. "Hello. My name is Samuel." He said shyly while bowing slightly. "These are my annoying, mean, fat, ugly, thirteen brothers." I said while pointing at them with my thumb with a disgusted face. "Hey! I'm not fat!" Mingyu yelled. I looked over at him with a 'really?' look,"You ate four family size bags of chips yesterday with two gallons of ice cream. How many people are you eating for?" I said while looking straight into his eyes. He crossed his arms and looked away,"I was just hungry yesterday. I had a movie marathon." I scoffed at his words. Lunch passed by quickly and the school day went by. I remembered how I had to stay after school for my brothers' activities. I groaned as I banged my head on the desk. "Um Yuna?" Samuel asked as he stood beside my desk. I quickly sat up straight acting as if nothing happened,"yes?" He looked down,"Thanks for being nice to me. Would you like to hang out with me?" I smiled softly,"Of course." I got up and grabbed my backpack. I followed him out of the school,"So where are we going?" I asked. He looked at me,"Maybe we can do homework together. Maybe the coffee shop?" I loved his idea. Simple but cute. Baby steps Yuna. Take it slow. We took the bus and arrived in a coffee shop. It had a calm soothing feeling. Soft music was playing in the background while the smell of coffee filled the place. "One macchiato and one hot chocolate." Samuel told the waiter. I sat down across from him. He really looked like the person who would go to coffee shops in their free times while listening to music. He felt different from the other boys. He seemed soft and reliable. Whatever Yuna. Stop thinking like that. "So Kim Samuel. You never really told me much about you." He seemed stunned by my question. He fidgeted with his fingers. "Well um I have a sister and I was born in-" "no. I wanna know more about YOU. Your personality. Hobbies. Talents. Relationships." He took a deep breath to start again,"I like going to coffee shops. It's so soothing and makes me feel comfortable. I go everyday. It kinda seems uncool and lame but having people around you who come here as free time can mean a lot." I tilted my head,"You're not uncool Kim Samuel." His brown eyes stared into mine. His expression dropped while he stared. The aura was tense but it felt so right. He felt so right. I just can't explain it.
