Tell me why ain't nothing but a heartache, tell me why ain't nothing but a mistake
God damn I love this song. I looked up from my phone to see the car silent which was unusual. It must be because it's a blood moon today. Blood moons are tiring knowing everyone is desperate for blood. Especially royal blood. The car came to a stop and all of us came out filing one by one. I looked over to the driver,"Save me extra blood bags at home okay?" I asked jokingly but kinda seriously. He smiled,"As you wish young one." I hopped out of the car and my eyes glowed red as I felt the stares knowing that the students acknowledge the royal blood has arrived. I scanned people's blood knowing which one must taste the best. I walked to the school until a girl stopped me. My brothers stopped in their track while the girl confronted me. "Let me have a bit of your blood PLEASE. I beg of you my princess." She begged on her knees. I scoffed and smirked. I knelt down to her level and caressed her hair,"You poor creature. But honey I don't give away my blood for nothing. If you want my blood then I'll get the pleasure to drink every last drop of blood in your body. Would you want that?" I grabbed her neck scanning her blood. She stayed shock and silent. I rolled my eyes and released her neck. "That's what I thought. Don't make useless commands." I got up and dusted off my uniform. I caught up to my brothers and walked with them. "Nice scene. You should be an actor." Hoshi said as he nudged my elbow. "I've been craving some blood too." I pouted. I waved to my brothers as I went to my classroom. I saw Samuel with his glowing red eyes staring out the window. I smiled brightly. I walked over to him and sat in front of him. "Craving blood?" I asked as I took out my book. He chuckled,"May I partake from your neck?" He asked with a strange accent. I raised my eyebrow,"Only if I go first." I shook my head,"Ugh don't turn me on. I might actually drink your blood and that can't happen. I'm just so thirsty." I said before opening my textbook and focusing on the assignment. "What if I'm serious?" Samuel whispered behind me. I turned around to see him staring into my eyes deeply with those red eyes of his. Those memorizing eyes that he controlled. I bit my lip letting the drop of blood flow down my lips. Samuel came closer to me and gracefully licked my lips getting a taste of my blood. I held my breath as he did THAT. He sent me a look to see my reaction and smirked,"I have been having cravings for a while." Samuel didn't seem like the conserved boy he was when it was his first day of school. He didn't even seem like the same person from the library a couple days ago. "Just what do you feel towards me Samuel. I can't seem to crack you open."I asked tilting my head to the side hoping for a decent answer. He sighed deeply and lied back in his chair,"Yuna, you mean a lot to me. Yet I do not know what my feelings are towards you." I rolled my eyes playfully,"You sound like Shakespeare or something you bookworm." I turned back around into my seat while biting my lip. Guanlin and Daewhi suddenly busted the door open and came running towards me. "YUNA! There you are. We have news to tell you!" Guanlin said while grabbing my arm. "What's wrong?" I asked not budging. "One of your brothers is literally gonna kill a girl if he doesn't take his fangs off of her." Daewhi said while pulling my arm harder. "What?!?" I stood up and run out of the door. I looked behind me to see Samuel worried. I ran to the commotion of the scene. It was Seungcheol. He grabbed a girl from behind embedding his fangs into her neck. She cried while he didn't stop. Dino came over to me,"Yuna! Stop him! He's stronger than all of us. You have to stop him." I concentrated deeply,"Seungcheol. Let go of her." Seungcheol looked up to see my red eyes glowing. "Leave me alone, sister. I'm thirsty." He ignored me before continuing to continue feasting on her blood. My fangs grew out due to my anger and frustration. I walked over to him and grabbed his neck. I held him up in the air making him stare into my eyes,"Seungcheol, listen to me. Calm down." He didn't obey. He still fidgeted in the air. I stared into his eyes. His soul. "Sorry but this is for your own good." I concentrated enough and soon his eyes closed and he passed out. I dropped him to the ground and knelt down to his level. "I told you something. You should've listened." I whispered. I looked over to the girl who was shaking in fear,"Don't ever let my brother get his hands on you. Now go to the infirmary or else you'll pass out too due to your loss of blood." Another two girls helped her up and took her to the infirmary. I looked at Seungcheol on the floor helpless. I scoffed at him. "Take him to the infirmary. He needs rest." I asked before standing on my feet and walking away from the crowd of vampires. This place is too suffocating for me. I can't handle it in here. I climbed up the stairs all the way to the roof top. The breeze felt good when it touched my skin. I breathed in deeply. I looked at the moon. How is it? Are you doing fine with the pressure of tonight? Announcing that today is a blood moon? You look red today or maybe that's just my cravings hitting me again.
