The light burns

"Come on!" I heard Jisung yelp like a puppy. All twelve of us were already walking inside the mall. It was packed with families, couples, friends and etc. We decided to split into 3 groups of four each. I was with Guanlin, Woojin and Daniel. "So how's it been the past couple of days?" Daniel asked as he walked beside me. I shrugged,"It could've been better I guess." Daniel glanced at me,"I remember what happened at the lunch table a couple days ago. He was pretty pissed when you left. He was dripping from the water you poured and steam was coming out of his ears." I laughed at Daniel's observation. "I don't regret pouring water over him. He deserved it." I said confidently. To this day, I still can't believe he said what he said. Daniel tilted his head to this side as if he didn't understand something,
"It makes no sense why he used you. I really thought he loved you. I saw it in his eyes. I felt it." I remembered how Daniel can sense people's emotions and feelings. "Whatever. He is still a jerk." I said shrugging off Daniel's prediction. Why would someone hurt a person they love? It just doesn't add up. "LETS GO EAT ICE CREAM!" Woojin yelled as he grabbed my arms and pointed at the store. Woojin dragged my arm all the way into the store. He ran to the counter and took a quick peek at the menu,"Wanna share a shaved ice with me?" He asked curiously. I nodded with a grin. He ordered and quickly sat down still attached to me. Daniel and Guanlin entered the store later and sat in front of us. "Do you guys have anything you wanna buy?" I asked waiting for the shaved ice. Guanlin thought hard,"Oh! We should get matching shirts!" I raised my eyebrow. Daniel smirked while Woojin showed a confused look. "Hmm okay then. Let's get matching shirts." I said breaking the silence. I knew if I said no then Guanlin would have a small tantrum or silent treatment. He did invite me anyway. The shaved ice arrived and everyone just ate. We took pictures and talked. "I can't believe Seungcheol has a girlfriend." Woojin blurted out. I scoffed,"It's not even a committed relationship. He lost a bet. I would rather date a cow than her." I said before taking another bite. "Speaking of the devil." Daniel said as he saw Sura and Seungcheol walk in. Seungcheol looked annoyed and tired while Sura looked excited and energetic. They went straight to the counter to order. "Yah, yah. Hurry and eat before she sees me." I said trying to shove spoonful of ice into my mouth. "O-M-G! Yuna, is that you?" I hear a preppy voice yell. Dammit. I looked up to see Sura standing in front of my table with Seungcheol behind her. "Uh yeah. I was just about to leave." I saw while getting up. "No! Let's eat together! You still haven't finished half of your shaved ice." Sura whined as she grabbed my arm. I looked over to Woojin who just gave me a look of pity. I sighed,"Fine. We'll leave when we finish our shaved ice then." I sat back down. Sura smiled widely as she sat down next to the table beside us. Seungcheol quietly sat across from her. I looked over to Seungcheol. I tried sending him a mind message. 'Wow cute date.' I smirked as he heard me through his mind. 'Save me please.' He communicated in a jokingly way. 'Well who told you to make a stupid bet?' I said in the mind conversation before grabbing my spoon again. This situation felt so awkward I just wanted to bang my head against the wall. "So are you guys on a date?" Sura asked knowing she is pushing my buttons. I choked on my shaved ice. "No! I mean we were just hanging out as friends." I said shooting lasers out of my eyes. She must still be mad about what happened in the cafeteria that day. I felt Sura glaring at me ever so often. I returned the glare,"Got a problem, princess?" She scoffed,"I'm not scared of you. You're just a weak wannabe princess. You don't even deserve to be princess." Tch, like I had a choice to be princess or not. I dropped my spoon loudly on the table and got up,"Don't act so tough if you can't fight. I'm not scared of your little cat scratches." I bended down to her level saying right up close to her face. She got up on her feet too,"Fine then, let's see who's stronger." She said with her hands on her hips. I looked in her eyes. If I can concentrate enough then I can try to make her feel pain. I stared deeply. Not letting go. One. Two. Three. Sura grabbed her temple and groaned. Sura collapsed on the floor still in pain. "Yah! I didn't say go yet!" She yelled as she rolled up in a little ball trying to make the pain go away. I love this power. It's so easy but it hurts like hell. I crouched down to her level and watched her endure the pain,"You're no match for me. I would beat you up to the pulp before you can even get your hands on me. Tch, just because you're dating my brother doesn't mean anything to me. Or would you like to offer your blood to me? If you do then you would mean something to me." I licked my lips and smirked. Sura started shaking with fear. I got up from my crouching position.   I saw that Woojin, Guanlin, and Daniel finished the shaved ice. Wow, was it a nice movie? I walked out of the store as the rest followed me from behind. "She was terrified. I felt how scared she was." Daniel commented from behind. I took a glance at him,"Rule number one, never deny someone's role as a royal." My eyes glowed red as I passed people in the crowded mall. Never deny my role as a princess.
