"Since when were you dating Samuel?" Dino said from behind. I turned around in my chair. "Do you guys not know about knocking?" I rolled my eyes and took out my earbuds. Dino took a seat on my bed and looked at me,"Is that why you didn't come home with us yesterday?" Suddenly I got really nervous. Even though it's official between me and Samuel, I still had sweat dripping down my forehead. "Yes, I'm dating him. You got a problem?" I said while standing up to act confident. "Wow. My little sister is dating one of the most popular boys at school. I swear to god even people in my grade want to date him." He laid down on my bed tossing a pillow in the air. "What's so special about him? I know he's athletic. He has nice hair and nice eyes. He's tall and has a good build. He's smart. He loves reading-" he stopped tossing the pillow,"Damn he is perfect. Maybe I'll fall for him one day and steal him out of your hands." I scoffed and sat back down in my chair. I can't believe he was my boyfriend. Just the thought of it made my stomach do a somersault 5 times in a row. "We've only been together for about two days. It hasn't even been that long." I said turning toward my desk again. "Bingo. The truth is that you're the only one that was his friend. He pushed all the girls away and declined him while he didn't bother using his spare time to hang out with the guys in sports." Dino said as he snapped his fingers. I didn't see what point he was trying to make but his words made me warm inside either way. "Do you have a girlfriend, Dino?" I asked as I picked up my pencil. He sighed,"Nope. My love has not passed by my eyes yet." Suddenly I remember the night a couple nights ago of mother talking on the phone to my mother. "Dino, I need to tell you something but you can't tell anyone else." I whispered. Something bothered me,"You too. Just come out already." Finally I heard shoving and pushing,"You blew the cover Seungkwan!" "Shut up Vernon! You were the one breathing so loud!" I rolled my eyes and looked at them on top of my bed. I hate it when they turned invisible. Vernon and Seungkwan were born with the same power since they are twins. "What's the point of hiding?" I scoffed and walked over to my bed where all three of them were sitting. "So as you would know Vernon and Seungkwan since you 'just came', I have some news to tell but you can't tell anyone." Vernon and Seungkwan nodded and leaned in to listen more carefully. I told them everything. From the minute I walked out of the bedroom to the minute I walked back inside. I had a pretty good memory so I highly doubt I left everything out. Dino was speechless. Vernon looked away and Seungkwan had his mouth wide open. "No no no. The man I saw with our mother cannot be with your dad. It just can't." Dino said while shaking his head with anger and confusion. I placed my hand on his knee,"Dino. The man you saw that day might've been my dad. Did you see any resemblance?" I asked while Dino thought back to the memory with his eyes closed. He opened them without warning,"Holy shit." Dino had his eyes wide opened biting his lip. I looked over to Vernon and Seungkwan,"Well, what do we do?" I asked the oldest people in this room. Vernon suddenly grabbed me by my arms and went up close to me with anger in his eyes,"Are you sure you heard that? It's not possible!" He was shaking. Vernon was terrified of the truth. Is this how I looked like that night? My eyes widen at the sight. "Vernon. I'm the princess of Vampires. My memory is photogenic. I'm sorry." I slowly caressed his hair awkwardly. "My mother started a life with the King Of vampires." He said in defeat and despair. His grip on my arms loosened but he still didn't let go. I looked over to Seungkwan who had his head down,"I'm confronting them. Tonight at dinner." I said as all of them as they couldn't believe it. "They can't know that we know this, Yuna." Dino said as he placed his hand on my knee. "We have to tell them, Dino. We have to know the full truth. Don't you feel betrayed knowing they kept this secret from you?" I snapped back making him shut up and look away. "Should we tell the others?" I asked Seungkwan. He thought for a while thinking out the consequences,"Nope. It's best if we don't. Who knows what those boys will do." I nodded thinking out how tonight might go. I stood up from my bed and looked out the window,"I'm nervous." I said while stuttering. "You want me to call your boyfriend to the rescue." Dino said jokingly as everyone laughed along. I moved the pillow using my power and made it hit his face. He muffled as he got hit by a pillow,"Punk!" He threw one at me in lightning speed but this pillow was covered in ice. "Thanks ice princess. Now what? You're gonna turn this room into an igloo?" I mockingly said while sticking out my tongue and catching the pillow making it melt in my hand. I don't need Samuel right now. I need to do this by myself.
