Dark Type Pokemon

Anna: Where is everyone, I can't see a thing.

Twilight: I don't know, it's pitch black here.

Jaden: *turns on a torch (or flashlight if you're not English)* There you guys are.

Anna: Can you tell me why it's pitch black here?

Jaden: Well, today is the dark type Pokemon list so I thought it would be fitting.

Twilight: Couldn't you do something like a dark forest or make everything look evil.

Jaden: First one was the ghost types and the second one isn't true as not all dark types are evil.

Anna: Just begin with the list.

Jaden: With pleasure.

Number 10

Jaden: Let's start things off with Sableye. It's very bulky, good in competitive and didn't have a weakness until the fairy type was introduced.

Anna: I guess they decided to do that so it wouldn't get hacked to have wonder guard.

Jaden: Yeah, but there are other ways you can make them untouchable with specific strategies.

Twilight: Of course.

Number 9

Jaden: Spiritomb is next. It's basically the same thing as Sableye only it has better stats.

Twilight: Next one.

Number 8

Jaden: Krookodile looks like a badass. The red colour, the angry looking eyes. That is a great design. And it has a very good movepool so it's pretty good in competitive.

Anna: Why is it not that high?

Jaden: I mean, there are other dark types better than this. But mainly because I can't look at a Krookodile and think "It looks weird without sunglasses".

Twilight: Of course, the anime gave Ash a Krookodile that wears sunglasses and now he can't unsee it.

Jaden: Help me.

Number 7

Jaden: Houndoo, this hellish dog looks awesome. It has a cool design and its Pokedex entry states that it can burn anyone with an eternal flame that can't be put out. Also, it's quite good in competitive.

Anna: What about the Mega Evolution?

Jaden: Oh god, while it has an even cooler design, Mega Houndoom sucks.

Twilight: How come?

Jaden: To properly use one, you have to set up the sun to activate its ability being Solar Power. That ability is basically like giving a Pokemon a Life Orb, but it only boosts special attacks and does double the health damage.

Twilight: Oh, no wonder Mega Houndoom sucks.

Jaden: This Pokemon looks pretty realistic if you ask me. Scrafty, the Hoodlum Pokemon. It's basically the definition of a hoodlum. Baggy trousers, hoodie, mohawk and the fighting type. This is probably one of the most creative Pokemon from Gen 5.

Anna: Also, don't you like the Youtuber HoodlumScrafty?

Jaden: I sure do.

Number 5

Jaden: When I first played Emerald, this Pokemon intrigued me. Then it got a Mega Evolution, it was an awesome one. The Disaster Pokemon, Absol, is probably one of the coolest Gen 3 Pokemon. The horn looks like a sword, it is very good in competitive and its origins are really interesting.

Twilight: Too bad the anime portrayed it as a Pokemon that brings disaster.

Anna: Now that's just mean.

Number 4

Jaden: This Pokemon wasn't that good from the game it was introduced. But once it started learning more moves that can be useful, I liked it even more. Not only is Shiftry a cool looking Pokemon, its origins are interesting and having one next to you is like having a teacher by your side.

Anna: It does look like a teacher with those feet looking like Japanese Sandals.

Jaden: That is why I used it in a lot of competitive formats.

Jaden: This final spot gets taken by the master of illusions, Zoroark. I liked the fact that it can create an illusion of your last Pokemon and how it is designed.

Twilight: Also, the movie that first introduced it was amazing.

Jaden: I agree, that movie was awesome. I've used one in competitive and the fact that it's so unpredictable is just awesome.

Anna: Wait, did I hear something?

Twilight: AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH, IT'S SLENDERMAN!!!

Jaden: No, that is just a Zoroark in disguise.

Zoroark: *turns back to normal*

Jaden: Now you can see why I like it.
